We hired Elk Construction to replace our roof, gutters, and damaged vinyl siding with James Hardie color plus siding. We could not be more pleased with their professionalism, timeliness, and skillset. This was a big project that not only required careful attention to detail but also a high level of understanding on proper James Hardie installation. From our first consultation with Juan, we could tell that he and his crew were the right people for the job. When Elk’s crews were on site, they were professional, kind to our family, hard working, and respectful of our property. Every member of their team gladly answered questions and made adjustments when asked. Elk Construction’s number one goal was to make sure that the job was completed well. They wanted us to be happy, and we feel like they went out of their way to make sure we were. We highly recommend Elk Construction!

Juan is great to work with! It went exactly as discussed and per the contract. He recommended several options for my class roof to meet and exceed neighborhood and wind/hail requirements. His prices are competitive and estimates very detailed. All people on the job were great to talk to. The precision with which one guy I witnessed measuring the underlayment was outstanding; it probably was at hour #10 of his working day and he didn't see me watching. Quite impressive! The job completion and cleanup were excellent. They even did a small repair job for my neighbor (who is unable to get up on their roof) at no additional charge just to help her out. I highly recommend Elk Construction and Juan Lacayo! Elk Construction is now my go-to shop for home repair needs.

Elk Construction did an excellent job on the repairs and the work was completed in a timely as proposed. They exceed our expectations and provided assistance in dealing with our insurance provider. Fredy and the crew did an outstanding job maintaing a clean job site and removing all the nails from the yard. I will definitely be using Elk Construction on future projects and referring them to friends and family.
