Eco Carpet Cleaning

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. Bought a Groupon and scheduled the service. Got a window from 12-2. They called and confirmed two days prior, said it would be closer to the 2 o'clock side. Ok, fine. We moved furniture and boxes and all sorts of stuff, rearranged our schedule and THEY NEVER SHOWED UP OR CALLED. We tried to get a hold of them multiple times at different numbers, sent texts, and now, weeks later, they STILL haven't returned any messages. Beware, somehow they have 4 stars on Groupon.

The technician was friendly and very nice. I really do not understand what happened to my carpets. Yes my carpets were dirty. There are some spots where the carpets look great BUT there’s BIG spots that are worse than before it was cleaned. It’s like the machine deposited dirty water in huge spots. I called the company for 3 days before I finally got someone to answer the phone. I texted pictures of the spots that are so bad. They said they would review my pictures with their pictures and get back to me. I can’t wait for their reply. Please do not use this company to clean your carpets.

They did an excellent job. They even dismantled my beds to clean under them.

On the date of service, we were ready for the cleaning at 12-2pm window. I began calling when I had not received a call around 1, and wasn't able to reach anyone until 145pm. I was told that the technicians don't carry cellphones during their services and they were unable to reach the technician. But, they would call me when they got a hold of the technician, and we were still on the books for that day. I waited until 5pm, and they never showed. I called several times while waiting, and was never able to reach anyone. I left a message voicing my dissatisfaction, I have yet to recieve an apology for the lack of service or communication. I have hired several carpet cleaning companies in the past and have never had anyone show up more than half an hour late, and they have always called when they were going to be late. At this point I am glad they didn't show, because I would not want this company working in my home.

This is the second time that I've used Eco Carpet Cleaning and have never been disappointed in the job they did. My appointment was for 8am and at exactly 8am Robert was at my door ready to go. The carpets come out looking brand new and I have dogs.

It seemed fine at first, but then I realized it only took about 40 minutes to clean only over 2,500 sq ft- obviously there are still stains. The carpet overall looks cleaner, but not worth the money or the 2 months I had to wait to use the Groupon. The guy also pulled the hoses to the van and let them run through my entire house, scratching my BRAND NEW hardwoods. I called the company to complain and could never get anyone to answer the phones.

Unfortunately there is no way to give 0 stars or I would have done so. I have never given a social media review but thought so little of this company and their owner that I decided to engage to avoid others the hassle of dealing with this vendor. Long story is below, short story is that after not returning my 2 calls to confirm in the days prior to the scheduled date, they called 1 hour before they were scheduled to provide the service to inform me that they would not be performing the service that day as "one of their trucks had broken down". Steer clear and use Liberty Carpet Cleaning instead as they were nice, professional and did the service the same day! Long version below: I contacted the vendor Eco Carpet Cleaners in mid October to schedule a carpet cleaning. They notified me that the first appt available would be Nov. 8th, over 3 weeks later. They said that they were very busy the end/beg of the months so reserved the living social deals to when they had more availability. Ok, fine. I set it up for that date as I had already purchased the deal and they were less expensive then other vendors. I called a week prior to the appt and confirmed that they would be there at 8:30. Three days prior to the appt, I called again to provide them with instructions on how to enter the property as it was vacant (strange they had not asked this initially?) and there was an outgoing message stating they were not in the office as they had a family emergency. No problem, that happens with family businesses. I left a message for them to confirm and call me back. No call came. I called and left a message the next day as well. Again, no call back. I got a call the morning of the delivery 1hr prior to the time they were to be there to provide the service. The woman who said she was the owner informed me that they could not provide the cleaning service that day as one of their trucks had broken down. She asked when I wanted to reschedule. As my tenants were scheduled to move in the next day, rescheduling would not worked. No assistance was offered. I asked if there was any way we could get something done today and that we would pay extra to have someone do it. After pleading with her to inquire with one of her 6 other trucks, she finally agreed and said she would call me back. Guess what? An hour later she had yet to call back. I called her and told her to forget it. Ended up using Liberty Carpet Cleaners who were very nice and offered to do it that same day!
