Don's Garage Doors

They came very quickly after we called them. They did the job quickly. He also checked to make sure the garage door opener worked, which is not what we called him for, so it was a nice extra. I was very satisfied with their work.

I called in the middle to late afternoon and they sent somebody out, who had it done by dinner time. The guy took time to explain to me and made some other types of recommendations to maintain the door and springs. My son in law used them and that's how I got the recommendation. He was pleased with them and I was pleased with them.

It was a great experience. I thought originally it was the trolley arm but once the tech came out, he immediately discovered it was the gear kit. Funny thing is that we just had the gear replaced by another company 2 years ago, apparently they either didn't actually install a new gear kit, or they just did part of it. Shady to say the least. Leif, the tech who came out, was awesome. He was knowledgable and courteous as well as prompt. We have a older wooden garage door and it is the quietest I have ever heard after all was said and done. He let me look over his shoulder and we discussed how the garage door opener worked and when parts need replacing, what they typically cost, etc... I learned a lot. He took me through the maintenance he did and let me know what I could do myself. Personally I think this is the most valuable part of the service. If you can educate your consumers you'll have a loyal customer for life, and now Don's Garage Doors does in me.

He showed up on time did the work as described on the phone and then fixed some issues I was not aware with my other gargage door and gave me a break on the price because he was already on site. Great Job

One garage doors had been unresponsive to the remote and key pad -- performing sometimes or not. The problem was that the door electric eye had gotten misaligned. It took him less than 5 minutes to show me what was wrong and how to fix it. Then he lubricated the door springs. Although this was a very short service call, I learned that the minimum rate is $85.

I decided on an Amarr door and had 3 bids all within $50 of each other, but decided to go with Don's because the technician (Seth) they sent to do the estimate noticed my garage floor sank about an inch in the middle and said he'd use a larger vinyl gasket along the bottom to make sure there were no gaps between the door and the floor. He impressed me with his attention to detail, so I rewarded him with the job. The work went smoothly and I'm very happy with my new door.

Called at 10:30 AM Friday. Described work to be done (spring adjustment). Dispatcher said they could have a tech out between 1-3PM same day. I received a call from tech at 2:00 saying he would be there in 12 minutes. He was! He adjusted springs and noticed rollers were shot on one door. Suggested replacing (no pressure but the need was obvious). Talked me through procedure as he put on new rollers (which do not require lubricant) Lubricated springs on two doors (I asked if I needed new springs and he said no). and told me how often I should lubricate springs and and where to get lubricant (Home Depot) He noticed one door had started to seperate from opener and added brace. Showed me the problem and how he was going to repair. Individual was very knowledgeable and couterous. Whole experience was positive.

I called Don's Garage Doors to come out and look at repairing my 30+ year old garage door. Not surprisingly, they don't make replacement parts for that style of garage any more. The service tech offered to save parts from any old doors that they pull out in order to get me back up and rolling. Instead I asked for a quote on a new garage door. The quote was provided on the spot with options presented for both an insulated and uninsulated door. The quote was clear and concise and allowed me to take it to the family decision maker (my wife) and have all her questions easily answered. We made the appointment for the door replacement and in less than three hours the old door was removed and a shiny new door was in its place. The door is high quality and runs very smoothly. The garage was picked up and left cleaner than when the installer arrived. I would definitely use Don's Garage Doors again, but with the quality of the door and the install I likely won't have to for another 30 years.

The additional minor, low cost work was cleanly beneficial and will prevent future problems. I was very satisfied and would use this company again.

We appreciated how prompt they were and the quality of the workmanship. This was a condo we rent and the installation was fast and they insured the door operated perfectly and quietly before leaving. We appreciated the professionalism.

Don's was very responsive, they were able to come out the same day. The tech was very friendly and courteous. He was also right on time and did the job in about an hour. He even gave me two options, to replace the single spring at $160 or replace it with two springs for $225. I went with the two springs. They were extremely easy to work with and were even able to meet my request to change my appointment time.

They were great. He came the day that I called and he fixed it within 45 minutes. He was very professional and did a good job. He matched the price of someone who would do it for much cheaper.

I was able to schedule an appointment right away with Don's Garage Doors to come out and give me an estimate on replacing the door. After answering all my questions and providing me with an estimate and a time when the door could be ordered and the work done I called the insurance company for approval on getting the door replaced. The insurance company approved the work over the phone. I then called Don's garage Doors and was able to schedule an appointment to get the work done right away as well. They were actually able to come out much sooner than I could work it into my schedule. The day the work was scheduled to be done they were able to come a little early and called to see if that was ok with me, which it was. The work was completed in an efficient and professional manor. The worker was friendly and answered all my questions, and gave me some maintenance tips.The door installed was of high quality and attractive. I would definitely call upon them again.

a very pleasant experience. Don was able to send over a tech the same day that I called. The technician removed the one short screw holding the opener to the garage door and re-attached the bracket with 4 longer screws. He adjusted the garage door so it would open fully and gave me some tips and education on maintenance to avoid future service calls. But if I do have problems again, I'll definitely call this company again.

All items performed within an hour upon arriving. Technician was very pleasant, courteous and knowledgeable. Any item/part required for my repair/tuneup was on hand in his vehicle. I have actually used Don's before at an old address and was very pleased to use them again at my new house. Bottom line....I'm a happy camper and have no problems with a recommendation.

Early one morning, my wife accidentally backed her car into her garage door. She took my car to work, and I called Don's Garage Doors for an estimate as soon as they opened. After discussing the door on the phone, Don gave me a ballpark number and swung by to look at the actual situation. He was quickly able to free the damaged door and locate a matching replacement, confirming that he could replace the door with the budget he had given me. Since I didn't have keys to the car that needed to move so he could install a new door, he drove me to my wife's work so I could trade keys with her. After he dropped me at home, he went to pick up a new door while another tech (who was also very polite, but who's name I don't recall) demolished the old door. Once the new door arrived, they installed it. It works great!

WOW! I had scheduled another company who failed to show. Called Don's at 11:45 and Technician Seth was there by 12:45. Replaced both springs, tune-up / balance, lubricated and tightened and/or replaced screws on entire door. Out by 1:35, job complete. Price as promised by phone. 3 year warranty on the springs, 90 days on the labor. As promised! Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

An excellent experience from start to finish. They arrived on time, did the work with professionalism and quality, and departed after cleaning everything up. I'm certain that the garage door is now in better shape than it was when it was installed thirty years ago.

My door did not open at 7:15 a.m. I had used Don's Garage Doors previously when the garage door spring broke, and they did a good job, so I called him again. I called right at 8:00 a.m. and Don answered the phone. He told me he would have someone over to my home in the early afternoon. The installer, called mid-morning and said he had finished a job early, and asked if he could come over early. The installer diagnosed the problem, and told me how much it would cost to fix before he started anything. The fix only took about 30 minutes. The installer also inquired as to whether I wanted him to replace the rollers while I was there because they looked original (the place was built in 1983), and the door was quite loud. It seemed like a good idea so I agreed, and am very happy that I did agree to it (plus it only took 5 minutes). Replacing the rollers has made a HUGE difference in the noisiness of the door. Finally, at my request, the installer showed me how to manually open the door, should I get stuck again for some reason. I'm glad that I called Don's garage doors again, and will call them again in the future.

Its been a satisfactory experience. The people that helped me were courteous, professional and were knowledgeable about my particular problem. I would recommend them to others.

There was one person doing this work for me and he did show up on time. The guy did look at the wheels and the track and informed us that they were fine. That was very honest of him and it saved us money. This was the first time that I used this company and I would for sure use him again.

On time and very helpful during the estimate, keeping price in mind. Showed up on time to work and worked 12 hours to get it done that day. Don, the owner, came by during the day and after the job was complete. Was more complicated than usual garage because of low-head room (older south Denver house).
