Great service! The repairman was prompt, knowledgable, and reasonable. We called Don's and to tell him our garage door was no longer working because a cable had snapped. His original estimate as well as the estimate from several other companies was that it could cost over $200 for the repair alone. A serviceman came right out, can't recall his name, very friendly and knowledgable. He examined the issue and determined that he could he do it do for much cheaper the originally anticipated as one of the cables was still in good condition. He did the job and then put in the nylon rollers which worked great.

The appointment was scheduled for my convenience and Technician showed up promptly and completed all work efficiently and with professional care.

Didn't hear back in a time that fit my emergency needs. No service was ever scheduled or completed. *Update* The owner of the company personally called me to apologize and was very sad to see my review. My experience may or may not have been an error. None the less his company was not responsive enough to get my business and while they are nice people I have found another company to take care of my Garage needs in the future.

The installer was most helpful in explaining everything he did as well as advise me what I needed to do to keep the garage door opener in good shape and balanced. He showed me how to spray the spring and door hinges. It was well worth the money.

The company called to make an appointment. When he came in did the analysis and provided an estimate which was reasonbale and the job was done in a couple of hour. Highly professional, reasonable price and pleasant experience.

I chose Don's garage doors because they carried Ankmar wide panal doors and because their estimate was very competetive. I was impressed by their punctuality and very pleased with the door installation. After installation, it became apparant that the top window panal was defective due to a manufacturers error. Don's repeatedly called Ankmar and were able to get a new panal made and came to my house to install it at no charge to me. Lots of extra time spent taking care of a manufacturer problem. I would hightly recommend Don's Garage Doors although I cannot say the same for Ankmar.

I purchased their $99 Angie's list deal. My garage door was squeaking, popping, shaking and frankly a little scary. John came out and was very friendly and professional and got right to work. In maybe 30 minutes or a little more, he replaced all my rollers, adjusted the guides, tightened the hinges, adjusted the opener and sprayed lubricant everywhere needed. It's like he installed a new door for me. I told him I may need to have him out later to look at the single-car door because of problems I had two years ago when it was very cold, but didn't repeat last year. He offered at no extra charge to adjust the opener on that one and lubricated it for me in just a few minutes. I now have this company's card stapled to my garage wall. This is the company to pick!

Tenant called Don's Garage Doors on a Tuesday, and they scheduled an appointment for the next day. However, they had a break in their schedule, so they ended up coming out the same day he called. The technician diagnosed the problem as a broken spring, went to get the part, and returned and completed the repair. Very pleased with the quick and efficient service.

Installer arrived and finished within 45 minutes.

The guys from Don's Garage Doors replaced the rollers and adjusted and lubricated the door. They were fast, professional, courteous and quite knowledgable. When I get my doors replaced next year, I will use them. In fact, I already have a quote. Gregory Davis

One evening we tried close the garage door, but it would start to close a few inches, then open up again. We had to close it for the night, so we disengaged to motor to pull it down manually. The next day we called Don's Garage Doors, Inc., the company we always call if we have problems with our garage door. When the repairman showed up he took some time to figure out the problem, then realized that we had accidentally set the switch to the LOCK position on the garage door opener in the garage! We felt so foolish, but the repairman was very kind and told us that since he didn't have to repair anything, he wouldn't charge us. We were so grateful. It's like a breath of fresh air to find a business like this. We'll be quick to recommend Don's Garage Doors to all of our friends.

The work was done in a timely manner. From beginnning to end it took approximately 4.5 hours to remove the old garage door and install the new garage door. There were no problems. We are very pleased with the new garage door, the installation and highly recommend Don's Garage Door.

Had an oddball issue where my garage opener was also engaging a neighbor's garage door two doors down from me. Don's was prompt and was able to reset the electronics in a way I was unable to, even with the door opener manual. The tech also inspected, lubed and tightened the door's various parts as part of the service.

While getting ready to leave for work, found garage opener smoking. Called Don's as soon as they opened. They offered me several options in case the unit was not repairable -- all of which they had in stock. Repairman arrived within an hour and pronounced my current opener as "dead." He had the new opener I had selected and all the necessary parts to complete the entire replacement & reconditioning in less than an hour. He was very pleasant and professional throughout and cleaned up completely when finished. From first call to completion in just over 2 hours. New door opener system works great! The only problem is that it is so much quieter than the old one, our dogs don't react as quickly when family members come home.

The technician (Garrett, if I recall), was right on time, and called prior to showing up to let us know he was on his way. He was very professional, and obviously knew what he was doing. We discussed the services to be performed before he started (part of the service was included in an Angie's List Big Deal we purchased, and part was additional service we requested when we set up the appointment). He gave our door a thorough inspection, replaced the rollers, lubed the springs, checked the tension on the belt, and installed rubber bushings on the opener mount (to reduce the amount of noise/vibration transmitted through to the floor of the guest room above our garage). Additionally, he inspected all of the hinges on the door and tightened up one that had been causing a loud banging/popping noise when we opened or shut the door. He gave us some recommendations on things to do to extend the life of our current door, as well as some cautions in case we encountered issues (basically, how not to make things worse or damage the door further if one of our springs broke in the future). We were very impressed with the service (our garage door makes substantially less noise now when opening and closing), and greatly appreciated the advice/tips provided. We will definitely use Don's Garage Doors again in the future if we have repair/service needs.

I thought my garage door was in bad shape because it was so noisy - it just sounded rough. The young man that came to service it was on time, and very courteous. It was in better shape than I thought. Apparantly some loose screws were causing the clunky sounds so he tightened them and lubricated the tracks. He also showed me how I could continue my own maintenance.
