Don's Garage Doors

We called asked if they sold the tension rod. They said they did. Very move over phone and in person. We would definitely use their services again!

My garage door began working erratically and I noticed slack in the chain. I called Don's around noon after reviewing service providers on Angie's List and on the BBB website and described the problem, and explained there was no rush as we could operate our door manually. The dispatcher checked to see if any of their service techs were in the area and was able to schedule a repair that afternoon. The service tech called before coming and when he arrived was very professional and helpful in explaining what he would do. After a brief diagnosis he identified the issue as a worn gear bushing and was able to replace only the gear and bushing rather than replacing the entire drive unit. He quickly fixed the drive, replaced the rollers, performed maintenance, and provided a number of good suggestions that I could follow through on to extend the life of the door and opener. Overall I was very pleased with the responsiveness and helpfullness of Don's.

It went great. I looked up garage door Repair near our address. They answered, told me they were available same day' told me the price and the coupon. Someone came in an hour and fixed the garage spring quickly with no problems. Very courteous gentlemen.

I called and scheduled an appointment for the nylon rollers since I already have keyless entry. The individual showed up right on time for the appointment and installed the rollers as well as tightened up and tuned up the door assembly. Well worth the price of the coupon and I'm very happy with the service.

The project went very well, the technician (Stirling) was prompt, friendly and professional. He called to let us know when he was on the way and completed the job in about 5 hours. A couple of weeks later we discovered that the door from the garage into the house hit the new support rail when fully opened, I called and he was there the next day to fix the problem.

Uneventful, good honest work. Do not remember exact cost but remember it was fair enough.

Every time I have called them they are out within a half day. They are really courteous, nice guys. They have fast service and they are extremely affordable. I would use them again in the future but I hope I do not have to use them.

Was a good experience, they were punctual and quick. I will go back to them and call them exclusively in the future.

I should have written this review much earlier because now I cannot remember the technician's name who serviced our garage door. I cannot say enough good things about him. For me he just seemed to go above and beyond the call of duty to get our garage door fixed. The door had completely stopped working so he replaced bunches of pieces and parts (trying to keep it the price down as much as possible) and got it to working. The next day I noticed it wasn't going down all the way (maybe 1/2 from the ground). Call Don's Garage Doors and made an appt for (I think his name might have been Garrett - please forgive me for not remembering) came right now and adjusted the door. I wish all technicians were as nice and good as this tech... just awesome! I would definitely recommend Don's Garage Doors and I'd call them again in a NY minute!

I called this morning around 8:30 and was greeted wilth a very cheerful and pleasant voice. One sping had broken on the garage door this morning and I could not get my car out. There installers had full schedules today but he had someone here before noon. John was the installer and guided me as I had to move my car forward in the garage so he could work. He was extremely pleasant to work with. I highly recommand the company for their efficiency and politeness.

I was extremely satisfied with the service provided, especially the fact that Don's responded so quickly.

I callled Don's Garage door and he came out that same day. He arrived on time and was very professional. He replace both of the springs on our double car garage door, checked all of the rollers, and adjusted the garage door open, all at no extra cost.

We had Don's out to service a garage door on a HUD house my daughter bought. The garage door was inoperable when the house was purchased. This wasn't a commercial deal; house was purchased to live in. Don's replaced the springs and did a full tune-up on the door and opener. Price is a little high because we also bought two remotes for the door (which they programmed for us). The guy they sent out was very honest, capable and helpful. He even suggested that I could get the remotes cheaper elsewhere. High rating here; wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

Seems like we've been having Garage Door problems every other winter. This time, the door was "jacked" in the open position. Rollers came off of the tracks as well as one of the cables. Called a few places and decided to go with Don's Garage Doors based on reputation on Angie's list. Their technician found problem that have been overlooked by (3) other Garage Door repair companies. The door is working better balanced and working quieter than ever! Pricing was fair. I'll only use Don's Garage Doors in the future.

Found garage door un-openable. Searched Angie's List and found several possible companies...got several estimates and contacted Don's. They came the same afternoon and fixed te problem I was very pleased and recommend them HIGHLY!!

The office was responsive in getting the appointment scheduled. The two-person crew showed up on time, calling ahead to let us know when they'd arrive. They performed the service requested. However, when I asked about other potential issues they were honest but not pushy about what they could do. i ended up spending some extra money but certainly got my money's worth. They were quick, efficient and affordable. I thought they did a great job.

The gentleman showed up on time and spent all of twenty minutes working on the garage door, during which he replaced ten of the rollers with new nylon rollers, as described in the Deal. I'm pretty sure that is ALL he did - I did not see any evidence that he tightened up any hardware. I did not notice any significant improvement in the operation or noise level of the door. The rollers which were replaced were the easy ones to get to. This garage door is the original one on the house and is going on 35 years old. The hard-to-get-to rollers are just as worn out as the easy ones. The gentleman pointed out that the other rollers would be harder to replace but did not offer to do so. I am aware that there would have been an additional charge to do a more thorough job but he did not offer to do it - it seemed that he just wanted to get in and out as quickly as possible. I plan to replace the garage door in the not-too-distant future and purchasing this Big Deal was a way to try out a door contractor. Based on this experience, this will not be the first contractor I call to see about replacing the door.

The service turned out great. I was really happy with them.

I needed a tune up and some work done to help me fix the codes on our LiftMaster garage door opener. When I called I was surprised to get a same day service call that afternoon. Chris arrived within 15 minutes of the 3pm to 5pm window starting. He fixed and adjusted the door, helped us set our codes and car systems, and did a tune up for the service call fee. Chris was polite, professional, and finished the work within an hour. We will be using Don's Garage door again.
