 + -1 moreTim was very prompt and professional. He solved some difficult wiring problems and came up with new ideas that we had not thought of. He not only fixed everything but make the house more livable. He was cheerful and pleasant throughout the work. His price was very reasonable.
Description of Work: We purchased an older house that had a number of electrical problems. Tim repaired outlets and switches that were not working by identifying problems that were sometimes not close to the outlets or switches themselves, installed grounded outlets and GFI outlets and installed a new outdoor outlet.

 + -1 moreTim actually called a day before he was scheduled to come and said that bad weather had made it so he had time to come by. He arrived within 1/2 hour of his call. He tested the outlet, removed it and replaced it. DG&S is always responsive, helpful, works to keep costs down and provides top-notch service.
Description of Work: We had an overloaded circuit that blew out a handful of outlets in our kitchen. The reset button didn't bring them back to life and the circuit breaker didn't trip. We couldn't figure out what else to do, so we called the electrician. Tim came and tested the main outlet and discovered that it had gone bad. He recommended replacing that outlet, which he did during the same visit.

 + -1 moreTom and Tim were easy to talk to. They answered all of our questions and worked with us to make sure our ideas were going to work. They were very helpful in explaining things and in pointing out ways we could save some money. Both guys were friendly, professional, punctual, and incredibly knowledgeable. They were patient with our questions. They made sure the job was done completely and done well. We are very happy with the end result.
Description of Work: Tom and Tim added three new circuits to the basement. They installed recessed lighting, task lighting, and low-voltage track lighting. They also grounded the existing wallplugs and cleaned up work that was done incorrectly by a previous electrician, thus making all of the wiring safer.

 + -1 moreThey did an outstanding job. My house is rather old as it was built in 1942, so this was a very big job and they handled it very well. The people were very professional and knew what they were doing. They did an excellent job.
