Description of Work: Armando did a great job with all of the small jobs that needed done and provided valuable advice. The only complaint was some dirt thrown in the rockbeds that I had just laborously dug out to clean the dirt out. But that's a minor complaint. His price was fair also.

 + -1 moreHe bailed. My wife took a vacation day to meet him. My wife finally texted him at 11:00 to see what was up. He responded he had a problem at another job site. He never did communicate with me as far as a reschedule / apology anything. Strange thing is he came highly referred from someone at my wife's work. He blew it and cost my wife a vacation day. Do not use this guy!

Description of Work: Armando and I scheduled a bathroom repair. I called him day before our agreed upon date to confirm and he stated he wanted to see the job again. No problem. We met that evening and he committed to doing the work the next day at 10:00 am. My wife rescheduled meetings for that day AND took a vacation day to be here for Delgado's Remodeling. We had not heard from him at all and when my wife texted him to see what was happening, he texted back (no call to explain or apologize) that he was tied up on another job. Then basically he wanted to waffle out of the job and suggested we get someone else to do the work. No kidding - we will. How unprofessional can you be to commit to the work the night before, have someone take a vacation day and totally blow them off? Armando came highly recommended to us by a mutual friend - what a disappointment. Be wary Angie's Customers.

Description of Work: Armando helped get a bedroom closet ready, including some painting and installing metal shelving, etc. He was very likeable, personable, helpful. He got started immediately, found some best ways to hang the shelving, etc. I would have no reservations for hiring him again.

Then called to reschedule for a later appointment the same day...never heard from him again. We were in a pinch and needed some handyman help - if he couldn't do the job, he could have at least called us back to say so.

 + -1 moreThey did a good job. They were dependable, their schedule was flexible and they were here on time. They followed through on the work they were hired to do. Everything worked out fine. We were happy with what they did. It was a pleasant experience. I would recommend them for handyman type work. Their price seemed to be fair enough. The fan is still working.

 + 2 moreDon't waste your time with this company. He tells a good story, but can't keep a promise.
Description of Work: Had neg experience with own handyman so decided to use Angies List for first time. Chose this firm, spoke to owner, he commited to work said he would be at rental by noon. Brand new tenant left her work so she could meet him. At 2pm tenant called to confirm time with me since he had not shown up. When I called Mr. Delgado to learn the situation, he flippantly said that he had to stop at an existant client and that he would "be there shortly." At 4pm the tenant called again. Once again I call Mr Delgado, this time he said he was stuck in traffiic and had decided NOT to take the job after all.

 + 3 moreHe's pretty darn good. He did a beautiful job. He is flexible and cleans up after himself after he does the job. He does a good job of listening to what we want. The one downside is that he doesn't always come exactly when he says he will but most of the time he does. He had done several things for us. He concreted in a mailbox, did fence repair and cabinetry repair in the kitchen. He has done many small jobs and we feel like we can rely on him when we need a handyman. He does a good job.
Description of Work: We used Armando Delgado's Remodeling & Handyman Services to do a small tile shelf in the kitchen.

 + 3 moreMr. Delgado is very skilled and knowledgeable. He took the time to understand what work was desired and then completed in a timely and professional matter. He was sure to clean up the job site and report to me anything that came up which wasn't anticipated. I will definitely use Delgado's Handyman & Remodeling Services again and as a real estate agent myself, will refer their services to my clients.
Description of Work: Installation of new entry door, repair of screen door, repair of water leak, and a few other small maintenance items.
