Compared to the last company we had they care about your system and are very professional . They take care of things like it was their own which gives you a feeling that they really care.

The job was done efficiently and without any surprises.

The polite employee asked me what I wanted done and I walked the yard with him and pointed out the issues to be addressed. He said he understood and would work on the system. When I returned later that day and checked the system it was not performing appropriately. I called the company and asked for a return visit to correct the deficiencies. They sent the same man out who finally did what I requested the first time.

Service technician showed me the problem and advised accordingly. Repair done in reasonable time and at a reasonable price.

Cooper came out to give an estimate only a day or two after I called. Installation was about 4 weeks after placing the order, which is less than I expected since it's the middle of Summer and I know they're busy. Almost amazingly, they knocked out the complete installation in 2 days. My neighbors installed their own system, and it took them the better part of 5 weekends and cost about $2200 in parts. I feel like the extra $1500 in labor for this job was worth it to have it done professionally and save me from wasting the rest of my summer weekend working on my own system which probably wouldn't work as well as if the pros had installed and adjusted it. They use a machine that looks like a lawn tractor with a tall (3 feet), very narrow (3") blade on the back. The blade plunges into the ground and simultaneously makes a narrow trench and pulls the tubing through the yard. The net effect is that there are only a few visible lines from the trenches running through the yard, so you can hardly tell they were there. Their lead guy Facundo was very knowledgeable, spoke good English and was very friendly. He and 2 other guys worked hard and efficiently over the course of 2 days. It was 98 degrees the first day and 102 the second. The only time they stopped was for lunch and a couple water breaks. After it was installed, Facundo went through the entire system with me, explaining each zone, how it works, how to adjust each type of sprinkler head, how to winterize the system, how the controller works, etc. Overall, we are VERY pleased with the work. Not only did this company provide the lowest quote, they came highly recommended by other Angie's List members and did not disappoint. The crew worked hard, was very efficient and very, very friendly. I would definitely use them again and I recommend them to anybody.

They were very prompt and professional. They did everything they said they were going to do. They walked me through the system and showed me how everything worked. They tested all of the sprinkler heads. When I had to contact them afterward they were very responsive. Everyone I talked to was very knowledgeable.

Dean's is a great company. The office staff is pleasant when setting appointments and they do a reminder call on the day before service is scheduled. Both technicians who have come out have been very polite, knowledgeable and honest in their assessment of our system. They were pleasant to work with and took precautions with their shoes as they entered the house.

All representatives from Dean's acted in a professional manner from appraisal to job completion. The appraiser thoroughly examined our space and recommended the best option for our budget and property and explained the reason for the recommendations. The work crew showed up each of the three days as promised, and put in a full day's work. They always informed us when they arrived and left for the day. The installation went flawlessly. When the installation was complete, the foreman walked us through the sprinkler system setup as well as any instructions for the lawn. A week or two later we needed the crew to come back out and clear space around the city water access and they arrived promptly that same day. It was refreshing to deal with a firm who cared about providing great customer service and performing all tasks as had been promised. Thank you, Deans.

He came out at the exact time of the appointment. He was very professional and also very thorough. He did a very comprehensive job. We were generally happy with the service and are going to have them repair the faulty sprinkler heads. The only problem with them was having to wait too long for the appointment, but was probably due to being the busy time of year for them.

It took one week to get appointment. Tech arrived on-time or early with a smile. I explained and showed him the problems. He repaired the first in about 15 minutes and we tested and refilled hole. The second required digging into compacted gravel and quite a pile of discarded concrete. He dug, found the area, we tested, he dug more unearthing more concrete. He located leak, repaired and we tested. He refilled hole. I asked that gravel NOT be replaced. I did it later after he left. Total time about one hour. The man's name was Elia. Get him if you have a choice.

Everyone we spoke with (at Deans sprinkler) was very polite and informative. Scherry was the manager.

Generally very attentive, called in advance and completed most of the work as agreed in a timely fashion. Had to come back for some corrections, move some plants and have three plantings still unresolved. Not the plants expected.

Job 1: This repair took two visits. On the first one, the technician was unable to locate the in-ground valve box, as it was overgrown with plants and he did not have a finder on his truck. On the second visit, the technician found the valves and replaced one of them within 30 minutes, doing an excellent job. This company seemed to have a very booked schedule, scheduling our appointment two weeks out from our call. Job 2: Great job. Said I could wait till the spring to fix the 2 small leaks. Even suggested replacing some plumbing parts that might cause problems in the future. No pressure to do them the same day. Very professional, on time. They are even starting a new yearly plan. The price is based on the number of zones and covers all work needed for the year!

The first day they came, they couldn't find the valve box. They had to come back 10 days later with the electronic locator. When he returned, it was a beastly hot day and the employee was very receptive to my questions and requests to fix additional problem areas. They were fast in terms of phone calls, but I rate them low in responsiveness because they are always booked. Appointments tend to be 10-14 days after you place the call.

Both the estimator and technician were on time. Job was completed within the estimated time and work area was clean and looking great when the job was completed. In addition, the sprinkler circuit was flushed and reset for proper operation. I had not been advised, nor had I asked in advance that there would be a service charge for the estimate, but was pleasantly surprised to find the charge was credited to the expense of the job. Was I totally satisfied? Yes.

They were very professional. They called to verify the appointment. Arrived right on time and did everything as expected.

They were very good. One man came and looked at the job. He gave us two different options, with two different estimates. Then another man came to do the job. He was very professional. He really knew what he was doing and even helped my husband connect some other parts that he was having trouble with at no additional charge.
