It went great! Service was on-time, courteous, and quick. The fan is solidly installed, working well and still running smooth and quiet months later.

Devin arrived promptly when scheduled and performed the work requested. I had tried to do the job myself but wasn't able to get it to work. He even used the outlets I had already purchased to save me some money. Great job. I also had them give me an estimate for a bigger job I am planning.

It was good. He was great. He came out and wrote a one page letter to the land lady to let her know that she needed to replace the electric panel in the garage. He was good.

He called before arrival (nice touch) and he spent 15 minutes in my house to get the job done.

Devon was running ahead of schedule and called to see if he could come by in five minutes, which was fine. He listened to me describe the issue: I had replaced a ceiling fan but had questions about wiring a new, different type of switch in the wall box, which had two other light switches and some loose ground wires. He determined that the loose ground wires were unnecessary and removed them. He then installed the new switch, provided a new style cover plate at no extra charge, and answered my other questions quickly and easily. I was able to use the company's coupon (pay $50 for $100 worth of service), which saved me $15. I would certainly use the company again.

In the morning, he came over, promptly at 8:00am, to give us our estimate. Within a few minutes we received the bid, it was better than others we had seen and after talking with Devin we felt confident enough to work with him. We told him we would like it done fairly soon but that he didn't need to rush to fit us into his schedule. He actually had the afternoon open and since my husband and I both had to go to work we gave him a key to the house. That afternoon he was finished with everything. Before he did work, our kitchen had wires all over the place (from us knocking out two walls) and everything needed to be remounted. Now we have 8 fixed outlets, all copper, thanks to Devin and his prompt work! We will definitely be working with Devin on our future projects. He was very nice, and professional.

A terrific experience from the initial phone call to the finished job. Scheduling the estimate and the actual work was painless, as the office is friendly and efficient. Devin, the electrician and owner, clearly knows his business and was on time for both the estimate and the work appointment. Both times he arrived at the beginning of the given two-hour time range. The quality of the work was excellent and Devin is a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend Current Electric.

We took an instant like to Devin. He is friendly and personable. Knows what he's doing and had our light installed in no time. He also gave us a couple of estimates on other jobs. Very keen to what we wanted and gave us a detailed list with the (very reasonable) estimates for each job. The lady who set up the appt. was also very nice--turns out it's his wife, by the way. Our new favorite electrician and will definitely use again. As a footnote, we chose this vendor from Angie's List because of the discount deal and after reading the reviews.

They were on time, did the work quickly, took about an hour and everything works now.

The work met our expectations and we were happy with him. He was a higher rate. We used him right away. He did not set up the exhaust to go outside, so it goes up into the attic. The other electrician did that. He was punctual and very professional and we would get another quote from him. He was very personable and knew what he was doing. We just did not understand why he did not hook the fan to the outside. My husband fixed it.

I called a couple of providers on Angie's list. I had one (Mighty Bee Electric) tell me they were on a job and would call me back in an hour. They did not call back until the next day. I was able to speak to someone at Current when I called the office. We set up an appointment for the next day. Our air conditioning unit kept tripping the circuit breaker. He looked at the connections at the AC unit. He then looked at the circuit breaker and determined that it had gone bad. He replaced it quickly. The whole thing took less than 30 minutes. I would use them again.

Devin arrived ahead of schedule! He looked carefully to see how he would connect the new outlet and in less than an hour the job was complete. Everything looks and works great! We will definitely be calling Devin again in the future! Awesome Job!

I bought an Angie's List Coupon for "$50 for $100 of electrical work or Light Fixture Install". I called Tuesday and told them I had purchased the coupon and wante a fixture installed. I received a scheduled time of 2-4 the next day. On Wednesday during the appontment window they called to say their tech was delayed on a job and would make it between 4-6 or I could reschedule for the next day. I did not mind waitiing, so the tech called and arrived near 6PM which was fine. I showed him the work I wanted performed (I provided the fixture). He pulled out his 3 ring binder and showed me the price for hanging a new light fixture = $150. I thought this was very expensive for the work I needed performed. He explained thet Current Electric provides services to three different service companmies who set the pricing for all work. It is NOT based on an hourly fee. I explained I had purchased the coupon and had thought the work would be $50. He explained the coupon was $50 for$100 worth of electrical work, so my cost wold be $50 in addition to the coupon I had purchased. for a total of $100. I expressed my disappointment as I had read the coupon to say $50 for light fixture install....He agreed to discount the project to $75 total and I agreed for the work to be done as I did not want to wait. He installed the simple light in 20 minutes or less and I showed him the ad from Angie's List which he agreed could have been worded better - he said he would talk to their advertisers or something about Angie's List makes the couopons. He was courteous and respectful at all times. I am disappointed at the lack of clear communication on the coupon. I think is is misleading and confusing. Why mention a light fixture at all in the coupon? I will not be using this company again as the pricing is crazy for the work performed.

Devin was terrific. He was very quick, very personable and did a good job. I will have him back to install a new ceiling fan and dining room light fixture.

Very nice guy! Arrived on time and was very personable. Installed the light fixture quickly and took old one with him so I didn't have to deal with disposing of it. He also checked the breaker to be sure everything was A-ok. Would definitely use them again!

Devin arrived on time and called when he was on his way. He was very personable and professional. And he was fast-I think he was in and out in about 30 minutes. He recommended and gave a price on some electrical updating work but was not pushy. Actually, he was very informative and I learned quite a bit. I would definitely use him in the future.

We used them for our home and my daughter home. He is very prompt and he did a good job, advising us on other things that he found. He gave us suggestions on things to do in the future. We have confidence that the work he provides will be done correct. We will use him again in the future if we needed to.

The guy seemed to know what he was doing. I don’t think he got a permit or grounded which I think should have been done for the amount of the service that was provided. On the original quote it says there should have been grounding and the permit should have been provided. However on the receipt that I received after the services were completed said that I did not want a permit which is not the case.

He was on time and did a great job. The price was reasonable.

The work went quite smoothly. It took Devin at most 4 hours to remove and replace the electrical panel. I am very pleased with the results.

Current Electric arrived on time, was polite, friendly and FIXED the problem. We had lived with a 3 station stariwell light that hadn't worked properly for years, and he solved the problem in less than a half hour. Wish I had hired him years ago. With the special Angie's list coupon, the price was very agreeable, too. Would definitely hire them again.

I own an old condo- built in 1908 so there's seriously no telling what you're going to find when you open up the walls. The dimmer switch in my bathroom had become loose and ended up not working, burning out the bulbs. Also, The previous owners of my unit had "installed" a ceiling fan with an extension cord and left a gaping hole with live wires about 2 feet from where the fan hung. I called Current Electric yesterday to make an appointment for an estimate and was told they had 2 hour windows open today starting at 8am, which was the appointment I took. Devin called promptly at 8 to tell me he was on his way, but that something had shut down Colfax so it may take a few more minutes. He arrived, was very polite and courteous and opened up the bathroom dimmer switch to determine the cause of the problems. That's when we discovered that someone had spliced in a bit of extension cord to move the switch from the outside to the inside of the bathroom. So we pulled that out and replaced the switch to its proper place with the correct wires. Then, Devin looked at my shoddily installed ceiling fan and was able to move that back to its proper place in minutes while installing a remote control for the fan. All of this, (estimate, labor, waiting on a parts runner for the remote, cleanup) took less than 1.5 hours and I'm very pleased with the appearance of what was done, as well as feeling safer that some previously shoddy work had been repaired. Additionally, I used a voucher from Angie's list (the $50 for $100 of work) which was honored without any issues (so my $360 bill knocked down to $260 + $50 for the voucher- not bad!)
