What I expected to be a huge and VERY expensive job turned out to be relatively minor and inexpensive. I'm pretty sure not every foundation repair company would have been this honest. Colorado Structural Repair doesn't even do mudjacking, so they won't make any money from us if we proceed with the recommended work. I would hire this company in a second if we ever did need foundation repair. They are truly concerned with the needs of the homeowner versus just trying to make a sale.

Jack stopped by and spent quite a bit of time analyzing my situation (indoors and outdoors) as I had concerns that my foundation and minor cracks in the brick may need repaired. Jack let me know that there was no need for concern at the moment as long as I made some changes to the grading of my yard which would allow water to drain away from the house rather than towards it. He was VERY well informed, patient, experienced and explained everything in layman terms. It ended up not costing me a dime even though his advice and time would have certainly been worth the cost of an estimate...of which was $0. I would certainly recommend Colorado Structural Repair.

All went smoothly from my initial inquiry. Jack McGuire and an engineer came out to assess the problem and explained what needed to be done which was the installation of piers to stabilize the rock foundation. The work was to be completed in two weeks, weather permitting, and it was completed in that time. The very hardworking crew stayed on the job until it was finished. They were polite and friendly. Throughout the project, I was informed of all steps to be taken and when to expect them. For a job of this magnitude, I don't think it could have gone more smoothly.
