+ -1 moreWe would not recommend them. I think the work was okay but the communication was horrible with them. It just went on and on and they would not call her back. It was an insurance claim but I think their price was okay. They did not finish on time and would tell her they would show up but would not show up. Sometimes they would show up without letting her know they were going to.

Description of Work: Ken came to our house to estimate roof damage that another contractor said we desperately needed...a company that goes around trying to get claims and who offered to pay our deductible. Ken was very honest with us and told us that there was not nearly the damage to our roof as the other contractor claimed...in fact, we could probably do the work ourselves! He explained in detail the processes involved in getting the work done by a contractor, and said he didn't want to take our money unnecessarily. If we do decide to get a new roof in the future or if we do incur damage due to a storm, I will definitely call him to do the work.

+ 0 moreThe entire process went very smoothly. Everyone was professional, capable and courteous. They were punctual. They were careful not to damage anything in the house. The project managers from Blu Sky carefully monitored the work of their subcontractors and kept us informed. In both the wood floor area and in the basement ceiling, the new work blends perfectly with the old.
Description of Work: Installed new hardwood flooring where old floor had been removed due to water damage. This new flooring was laced into the remaining undamaged wood flooring. There was a contrasting hardwood border that was also replaced. The entire wood floor area was then refinished. The subcontractor for the wood flooring work was Denver Dustless. Blu Sky also replaced a small area of damaged drywall ceiling in the basement.

+ -1 moreI have to give them a lot of credit for sticking with a small, difficult job that had insurance confusion from 2 separate storms. All of the other contractors I talked to didn't want to mess with it. The job turned out very nice and they have my hart felt thanks for dealing with the insurance company. The only reason I didn't give them top scores was some of the workmen that came out, specifically the texture guys had to redo the job several times. Bottom line the job came out nice and I would definitely recommend them.
