After having Jennie on-site to measure for the special needs for the master bath, the cabinets were ordered and installed incorrectly. When the cabinets were delivered and staged to install, I pointed out that the custom order was incorrect and told the installer not to proceed, he did. Then it was less than pleasant getting the vendor created issue resolved. Jennie and Dan thought that they were going to charge me for their error. Thankfully the fabulous designer showed them the error of their ways. The designer also informed them that a credit was in order for my lengthy delay (6+ weeks the initial error, plus subsequent week + delays). When Chris finally came to install, after Jennie tried to reschedule the replacement to make it more convenient for them and not me, the customer, Chris was full of attitude and devoid of customer service. Three weeks later I am still waiting for the touch up work and the credit for the inexcusable errors and delays. These folks seriously need to step up their customer service. Select another vendor if you want to have a smooth remodel.

Completing a major remodel can be stressful. BKC made the construction and designing stressfree. Jennifer took our ideas, thoughts and budget to create our dream kitchen! Jennifer was patient, understanding, creative and in consistent communication with us throughout the project. We enjoyed working with her and are incredibly happy with our new kitchen and bathroom cabinets!

We worked with Sandra. She was amazing! She had great ideas and gave us a totally custom kitchen! We couldn't be happier!!

Candice was our designer, and she was absolutely incredible. She helped us tailor our remodel to exactly what we needed while staying under our max budget, and maximizing storage, all the while not sacrificing aesthetics. Our kitchen looks like it belongs in a magazine, and eventhough we faced a few struggles due to our old house not being true in areas, Candice made sure that everything was perfect.

We worked with Caitrin at BKC for a total kitchen remodel on an older home, and were very pleased with her expertise, attention to detail and follow through. She made great suggestions to our architectural plan that improved the design and functionality of our space. Her guidance on cabinet design and placement was very helpful. During and after installation, she was very responsive to our questions and came out several times during the project to make sure everything was installed correctly (since we did not use a BKC installer). I would definitely use BKC for another project!

Everything went very smoothly - even when we had a change of budget mid-project. Mary suggested areas to cut costs, which we did. Now, we are moved in and loving all of our cabinetry from BKC!

Jennifer Rogers worked with us on our kitchen project. We had a sketch of our floor-plan with us when went to the BKC showroom. Jennifer used our floor-plan, aesthetic desires, and budget to put together a design that exceeded our expectations. This allowed us to be very confident in our cabinetry purchase. As we waited for the cabinets, Jennifer was very helpful in answering my questions so that I could complete the rough work prior to cabinet installation, following her detailed and measured plans. This exceeded my expectations as the rough in work was really my responsibility. I could not have completed that rough in work to spec without her kind advice. When the cabinets came and we started installing them, Jennifer's design skills proved their worth. Everything really came together very well for this picky engineer. Overall, I was very impressed with BKC and Jennifer's knowledge in kitchen design, cabinetry, and attention to detail. Thank you!

After living in our home that we built for 28 years ago, we knew it was time for a change. We undertook a complete renovation of the interior and BKC Kitchen and Bath was there to help us along the way. What we love about BKC is their ability to achieve both affordability and high end results. BKC provided great design support, precision measurement and ordering, and expert installation. They met or exceeded all our cost, schedule and quality expectations. We could not be happier and would enthusiastically recommend them to anyone.

After meeting with the company and going through all the measurements and details of the cabinets we are looking to add to our home, the designer noted that she will be out of town for a couple weeks and will turn our information over to another employee. We were told we would be contacted and a someone would come out to the house to measure the cabinets to be sure they were right. This was fine with us, however no one ever called or came to the house. We dropped by the BKC booth (approximately 3 to 4 weeks later) at the home show and told someone there about this issue and that no one had ever followed up with us. We received some relatively blank stares and not much more. We still never heard from anyone. Finally I called to follow up. The company did not have any of the information we had left them during our initial meeting and then told us they don't do remodeling work on projects that they hadn't worked on in the past because it is too hard to match cabinet colors. If they didn't want to work on our project, they should have told us immediately so we didn't waste 6 to 8 weeks. Terrible follow up and communication. We are done with this company.

Their customer service at the end of the job was lacking. They said I had a lifetime warranty on my cabinets. I had water damage so I called them and they said water damage isn't covered under the warranty. They ignored any of my communications regarding that, including emails and phone calls. The person that designed the project with us for 6 months quit right after the work was done. That also made it hard to communicate with them. However, they did a great job on the remodel and I thought the price was fair.

All in all, it was very good. There was only one snag in the process. When we did the original draw up of the kitchen design, we planned to keep a double tub sink. When the countertop came out it only accommodated a single tub sink. To rectify the situation; they purchased a sink that would work from Ikea, at no cost to me. It ended up being the best workable solution. The work they did was very good. However, the communication after the work has pretty much dropped off. We were clear that we wanted to keep the sink and I wanted to know how the snafu occurred, but have received no follow up from them.

Their service was good. They were responsive. When there were problems, they dealt with them professionally. They were here on time each day and were finished in about 6 weeks. Their cleanup was good. Overall, we were pleased.

Their service was wonderful. Everything was perfect. They were professional and on time. They helped with the design. It was a wonderful experience and I have a beautiful kitchen. I found their price reasonable and I would use them again.

The initial visit was almost a year earlier. I met with one of their young designers-she was very knowledgeable and listened very well to my desires. Then life happened & we (our family) finally got back on track with the remodel goal. When I contacted BKC again (almost 6 months later) my designer was no longer there. However, the owner phoned me later and offered options stating the one of the other designers had worker with my designer on several issues on my initial design. I'm very happy with his commitment to service. Cabinets are fabulous & just what I wanted, adjustments were made without any problems. The problems began when the "contractor" wouldn't come to the site when other workmen were on site-I had to become the coordinator for the remainder of the project. So, having a full time job and trying to get countertop fabricators, flooring workers, and appliance installation completed was a real headache. I feel like this made the project drag out much longer than necessary. Unfortunately, the designer & the "contractor" we're friends from previous projects (even prior to their current jobs!) It was a little uncomfortable toward the end-I basically told the "contractor" I didn't need his services any longer and when the final walk through was done I enlisted my husband to complete some of the finish work (chalking, touch up painting, etc.)

We didn't use them as the salesperson never contacted us. She only worked through the contractor even though we were the customer and initiated the estimate for the job directly with her. This was the poorest service we have ever received for any of our remodeling jobs - and we have had numerous ones completed. We are glad we decided not to use BKC - as we found out - there are numerous other cabinetry companies that want to do business and do it professionally. We could never recommend BKC due to this salesperson. 01/29/14 - We want to update our review from an F to an A as a result of the owner Dan Wagner responding to our review recently Thank you Mr. Wagner for your response. We sincerely appreciate it. We actually used BKC 17 years ago to modify our kitchen after we built our home. And we remembered a great experience back then and that is why we came back. As you stated, you are very customer service focused and that was what we remembered from our first experience. It looks like we may have been too harsh in our initial review and took out our frustrations that we had with the referred to contractor - on your salesperson. We will definitely consider BKC in the future should we decide to have additional work done on our home that BKC could handle. We will make sure that we are clear upfront of what we want - as we can now see that we can share blame in this misunderstanding. Thank you again for your response and your professionalism.

I purchased my kitchen cabinets from BKC. I have a rather modest home and so didn't want to spend too much money, but I didn't like the poor quality cabinets found at Home Depot. BKC was able to supply a very nice veneer over plywood cabinet that looks great. I paid more than I would have at Home Depot but I feel I got a much better product. They came out and measured my kitchen and I had a proposal within a week of walking through their front door. The cabinets were delivered four weeks later as planned. My experience overall was excellent, as they did everything they said they would do. I would recommend them to anyone replacing their cabinets.

I am extremely pleased with everything they did. It turned out very, very well with very little stress. Their prices were quite competitive, and the project included cabinetry, crown molding, repairing our hardwood floor, adding granite coutnertops, plumbing, electrical, and a backsplash. I have a beautiful and very workable kitchen and I couldn't be happier with their work.
