Dave, was great! He was done in a timely manner and fixed everything. He was friendly. I am very happy with the price. I had called a different company and they were asking double the price. I called Bill Smith plumbing and told them what was wrong and what my budget was and they came in under price and were here the next day. I will definitely use them again.

The Installers arrived on time and the removal/installation went smoothly and quickly, They do good looking work (not sloppy) and left the site clean. A job well done.

I called and made an appointment. He was he at that time. Told me what was causing the leak and fixed it.

The plumber showed up right on time. He found the water line to the swamp cooler within a few minutes and disconnected it to let it drain. After doing that I noticed the valve was leaking. He replaced the valves and made the necessary repairs. He was diligent in his work and pleasant in his demeanor. I'm grateful he was able to fix the leaking valve during the same visit and not have to come back later. I would definitely use them again for any plumbing needs.

The plumbers were on time and efficient. They were knowledgable and thorough. They charge by parts and labor (and a trip charge) - not by a flat fee for the job. Over all - about $100-110 per hour total:-). I was very pleased with their service.

This work had never been done professionally before. They went through and re-worked some things and made some recommendations on how do it a little more efficiently and effectively. We went with their recommendation.

This was a great experience. The technician when right to work and did a great job. He explained what work he would be doing and about how long he expected it to take. He completed all the work under the estiamted time. He let me know that he had over 14 years experience in the business, I appreciate the way Bill Smith Plumbing does business and have plans to use them for a remodeling project as well. It's always great we you get the work done as expected and then find out the fianl price is in line or less than the original estimate. This is my first experience using Angie's list. It helped tremendously as I shopped around to find what I needed.

We found the basement bathroom, which is seldom used, had a leak that appeared to be either severe or had been going on for awhile. There was a fair amount of drywall damage, and a lot of water under the tub from the crawlspace side. It was after 10pm, so we just turned off the water for the night and called at 8am the next day. They said it would be between 10 and noon, but the technician called at 9am and was done with the job by 11am.He figured out pretty quickly where the leak was coming from, explained why it occurred, and then fixed it. I was DELIGHTED by the bill, which was significantly less than I was expecting. He also pointed out another potential problem area to keep an eye on. Will absolutely hire this company again and would feel good about referring them as well.

When the plumber showed up -- on time -- I blurted, "Oh, I'm so glad it you!," because he had done such good, efficient work the first time he came. I found Bill Smith Plumbing on Angie's List two years ago. A new drain in the basement and a few other minor plumbing needs had been estimated to cost over $1000 by another firm's estimate. BSP did it for one-third the price, and did it well. He also leaves the scene clean. This last visit he left the bath and shower running better than in years.

Very pleased. This was not a usual plumbing call. They went the extra mile to do the job right.

They were great, start to finish. We had a broken pipe in the wall that was emitting sewer gas smell. Instead of knocking our wall out (as another plumber suggested) they identified the likely location, dismantled the tile, found and repaired the broken pipe, all in less than a day.

This plumbing experience was positive from start to finish. When I called to set up an appointment, the gentleman I spoke with was friendly, efficient, and was able to make an appointment time that was convenient for me. The plumber who performed the work was on-time. He was professional and friendly, and he very quickly understood the work that I needed to have done. He worked efficiently, removed the old appliances, and left my place clean. The quality of the installation work was superior.

Let me preface this by saying that in the past we have consulted with Bill Smith and felt like we got what we paid for -- it was a significant amount of money, but the service and results were excellent (installed a recirculating hot water pump and expansion tank to our water heater). More recently we consulted with them about leaky sinks in the master bath. I requested that they call before coming because we have 2 newborns at home -- this didn't happen. Instead, the plumber showed up (albeit within the time window previously stipulated), was rude to my wife, spent about 5 minutes in the home, then 10 minutes in the truck writing up the bill, and then presented us with charges of $92.00. The only materials he used was plumbers' sealant on the the leaky joint. I just felt like this was poor service and certainly not worth $92 of my hard earned money. I considered this egregious enough to file a complaint with the BBB, to which Bill Smith did reply and offer $23.50 refund. While I appreciate the timely response and partial refund, I'm still not satisfied, and will not utilize the services of Bill Smith in the future (in addition to retracting my recommendation of them to my friends and family).
