I purchased the Big Deal of $200 of plumbing services for $110. Had an extra $61.00 worth of work over that amount based on parts used and time spent. Service Tech (Scott) was on time and professional. Efficiently replaced faucets and toilet mechanisms, left work area clean and neat. I appreciated that Bill Smith Plumbing only charges based on how much work they actually do - unlike other local plumbing companies that have a price book with the one price fits all for each plumbing repair. I was completely satisfied with their work and called them about a month later to do some additional repair work for a bathroom sink faucet replacement and saddle valve replacement for the humidifier and an additional toilet.

Ok, this was my first Angie's List experience and it was so easy! After comparing several plumbers ratings and services, proximity to my home and looking at their appointment schedule, I selected Bill Smith. They arrived on time, were prepared for the problem I described in the online issue page. They fixed it, came out a second time to change another part without charging me more and a week later send me a statement. The entire process was great and Bill Smith Plumbing was great too! They were on time and did a great job. They even mailed us everything we needed to get a $25 Xcel rebate for the high efficiency hot water heater including an invoice in the format that Xcel likes and clear directions on what to do.

On returning from a business trip around 4 PM I found a damp carpet in a basement bedroom. The problem was a pinhole leak in the main inlet pipe from my well. I found Bill Smith Plumbing on Angies List reviews and called them. They responded immediately and offered either after hours emergency service or an appointment the next day. No choice on the main line in, I wanted it fixed ASAP so I agreed to the overtime rates. The dispatcher contacted their on-call plumber and followed up with me immediately. He followed up again in a half hour to be sure that the plumber contacted me and was on the way. Luther arrived as promised, had the parts to replace the pipe and made the repair in short order. While the after hours call was not cheap, the labor and material prices were accurate and the work was done exactly as promised. The company was easy to reach and went the extra mile to be sure that the work was done on schedule. I'm as happy as I can be with a wet carpet and wall to repair but I'd definitely use Bill Smith plumbing again.

I had change of plans. I did ask Dan for cost to move the washer box hookups to another location - out of the kitchen. He could only provide a rough estimate in that Bill's Plumbing has a person whose specific job to view job area and provide customers with an accurate "estimate of labor and cost. The water heater was not addressed since it was placed in a small utility closet, and the floor is starting to give; another big project to address at a later date. I also need to have the bathroom remodeled, still yet another project to address. I will call their Estimator and set an appointment for the bathroom.

They showed up when they said they would and had the work done in no time. Because I had purchased a $200 Angie coupon but the work only came to $194 they credited me the balance for future work.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They were great. They came out a couple of time. The deal was actually a credit. They came out the first time and I didn’t use all of my credits so then they came out the second time. I paid an additional $350 over the $200 credit I got. When they came out, there was some confusion in regards to what type of work they were gonna be doing. We had a little bit of misunderstanding but the owner got involved and took care of it

The technician arrived as scheduled and provided services efficiently. He showed me how to do routine maintenance on my water heater, thus avoiding having to pay him or another plumber to do the work. All in all I was very pleased with the service and the opportunity to use this company after having paid for a discount coupon offer.

We had wanted something much more expensive--a new tankless system. They explained to us that that would not work with our older home. To make it work we would have to incur major expenses involving the basic construction of our house. They helped us find an appropriate, top of the line traditional tank that has worked well in our home.

It turned out just fine. We got what we needed done and I really appreciated them coming out. They were very helpful.

Went great! Really liked them a lot. Unfortunately when we had a more pressing emergency, they couldn't fit us in for a number of days, so we had to go with someone else, but certainly will call these guys again for other things.
