The folks at Bill Smith Plumbing and Heating were very professional and seemed to genuinely care about my needs. When I initially contacted them on the phone and explained the problem, they immediately focused in on what the problem might be and gave me a reasonable "guesstimate" over the phone as to how much it would cost (~$275). They came the following day, on time (actually arrived a little early), and quickly fixed the problem. They were honest enough to tell me that the problem was actually much simpler and that I didn't need the original part that was originally quoted. They fixed the problem quickly (~45 min) and gave me a detailed overview of what was done. The final cost was actually about $140...that doesn't happen often, so I was pleasantly surprised. I would highly recommend these guys to others. Good and honest customer service is hard to come by these days and they delivered :)

My experience with Bill Smith Plumbing from the beginning was excellent. The gentleman that set up my appointment was so helpful. I had quite a few questions about the process. He was able to explain the service in detail as well as provide a close estimate so I knew what to expect. I used an Angie's Deal to apply toward the service. He explained how that would work as well. The deal helped me save approximately $80. The gentleman that performed the service was professional, respectful of my home and did a great job. I have since used Bill Smith Plumbing for other services and will continue to call them in the future when necessary. I would recommend them to anyone needing help with plumbing issues.

They did a great job. Called to discussed what would be involved for the fix and cost. They were very patient explaining the details of the fix that they were going to and they did a great job providing cost estimates. Job was performed promptly with no surprise. I ould definitely use them again.

I woke up on 25 Sept with no hot water. After several unsuccessful attempts to re-light the pilot light, I knew I needed help. I went to Angie?s List I have just returned from a 4 year deployment overseas, and have no knowledge of quality local contractors. This is the second company I have used from Angie?s List and I have not been disappointed. I contacted Bill Smith Plumbing about 0830 that morning. They arrived before 1100, did the troubleshooting, explained the problem, made the necessary repairs, and were done. The cost was so reasonable I was amazed. I will use this company again if I need plumbing assistance, and would highly recommend them to my neighbors and work colleagues. Excellent Service.

Quick scheduling of appointment. The tenants of this rental property gave good reviews on the professionalism and thoroughness of this company.

Had an emergency call to Bill's on a Saturday. The service provider was prompt, professional, and took care of the both problems. The plumber advised that the water heater would probably have to be replaced but did not pressure us to have it done at that time. The tenants had expressed concern about the toilet in the master bath, which was emitting an unpleasant odor (sewage like); of course wasn't there when the plumber was. The plumber did what he could but had to come back because the odor continued. He offered several options for dealing with the smell from conservative to more aggressive. We took the conversative approach and all seems to be fine. Happy with the service!

The faucets and toilet being replaced and repaired are 30 years old. Both faucet's were difficult to disconnect. The bathroom faucet replacemnt was completed successfully with a faucet I furnished. The faucet I furnished for the laundry tub wouldn't fit, so I just had him remove the old faucet. The toilet was flushing slowly and sometimes not at all. He snaked it, adjusted several things, but determined it would be best if I bought a new toilet. The toilet works no better than before the service. He offered to come back to replace the toilet and the laundry faucet without charging a trip charge. So far, I haven't done this. I have had very little plumbing work done in the past, so was not aware of the price of repairs. To me it seemed high, but I'm sure it is standard plumbing charges.

Excellent. Timely and the tech replaced not only the broken valve but both. Also, the replacements were upgrades. Last, the tech gave me a credit for additional work.

Great company, great service. Plumber installed the pump and consulted with us around best exit path for the drain. All work was done on time. He took time to explain the system to us and talked about how to maintain it.

We had a great experience with Bill Smith Plumbing! After receiving a quote from another company that was 3x as much, we asked Bill Smith Plumbing to install a new garage disposal. They were responsive, thorough and very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend them.

It was good. It was a little more expensive than the listing, but only because they had to do a little more work. The scheduling was easy and they were able to take care of the work I needed.

Plumber - could not complete job as he did not have the correct tools. This required us to hire a second plumber at additional cost/plus trip charge to finish the work.

I've used them in the past, and they're a very professional company. They've always been good to us, and they were able to find the problem with my bathtub even though I'm going to need to replace it entirely. I'd highly recommend their services.

Had water coming out of the floor drain. Called to get someone to come out on Monday morning at 9:58a. Person said they could get there tomorrow and I explained my emergency and he rearrange something's and said how does today between 10-12 work. Perfect. Guy, was extremely friendly and efficient. He snacked the drain in 30 minutes and was done in an hour total. Best plumbers around.

Mike arrived on time and went to work on the drain, clearing it efficiently. He didn't know if he would have time to do the kitchen faucet and the vanity top too in the same day but he installed the new kitchen faucet with no problems so went on to the vanity top. Mike is a super nice guy and did great work-didn't hurt that he is a dog guy too!!!

Very impressed with the service, prompt reply, scheduling and the technician. I chose this company over five others...due to their reputation on Angie's list and the amount of time in business. I'm glad I did....I will be calling in the future....very happy to have another plumber that I can not only trust ..but recommend to others. Mike was very professional and courteous. He got the "Blue" seal of approval...that says a lot. He cleaned up afterwards and explain how he was going to approaching the issue. Very refreshing!! Also, I received two phone calls regarding this service order...one for planning a day and time. then another call when the plumber was on his way....the time window was two hours instead of half of a day...that was very nice! He arrived at 1:10 and left at 2:25. I understand that this is a Family run business and that they have been operating since 1952. For me and my experiences that is a good reputation for any business. My husband, son and grandsons have been taking care of most of our plumbing needs in this home. However sometimes, it just is more convenient and wise to hire and bring in professionals. I'm very glad that I found this company. I was surprised to learn that I was a "new" customer.....but not going to be a one time only customer. Thank-you ...Mrs. Mary Anderson
