Accurate Window & Door Center

While Chris did his best to make things right, it just doesn't make up for the rest of a terrible experience. They sold me exterior doors that delaminated after 1 year. After agreeing to cover them under their warranty we agreed to buy more doors from them for a remodel. It's taken over 6 months to receive the doors under warranty, and I am still waiting. On top of that, the owner sent me to collections without any warning and after I had paid for all doors delivered. These doors aren't cheap, and you should expect higher quality from both the product and customer service than what Accurate provides. Look elsewhere.

The owner is Jim - he just said "F*** you" and hung up on me. Why? Because I was calling to find out how and why we were never told that the delivery of windows was going to be incomplete, even though we have been discussing the schedule of delivery since early last month. And it is a fuzzy, less than certain assurance that the remaining elements might be set for delivery the week of October 17th. I get there are supply issues. But communication is key to managing expectations. How were we never given notice that it was an incomplete order? Gee we are sorry, isn't an explanation and doesn't help. At first I was even told "there had been ongoing discussions..." nope - no word till the actual event of delivery. I get that there are things beyond ones control, but an ounce of sincerity in an apology goes a long way - but Jim and his caviler attitude was anything but. His parting words - F*** You, and hanging up, says just about everything anyone could want to know about him, his company and their focus on customer service.

We are doing some remodeling and wanted fiber glass doors but weren't finding what we wanted at the "box" stores. I called Accurate Window & Door Center and spoke with Ron, who gave me an idea of the doors they carry, sizes, etc. My husband and I stopped in without an appointment but it was no problem. Ron took us into the showroom and showed us the manufacturers and differences. We saw what we wanted almost immediately -- it even had the style of leaded glass in it that we wanted. Ron worked with us to order the door and sidelite, and gave us catalogues to take home to look at to pick the back door and sky lights (we didn't know the sizes for these). The only unsettling thing was that I had talked to Ron about the additional items one day, and when my husband called back the next to place the order, Ron was no longer with the company. But Jake had worked with him on the original order and took care of the additional items we wanted. There was one slight miscommunication about delivery, but it was quickly handled and there was no inconvenience. We recommended them to our contractor who in turn has recommended them to their customers.

Accurate Window & Door Center Inc. were very good. I really liked them. They listened to what I needed and took care of what I wanted to have done. It was good quality work.

They were very easy to work with. The salesman was responsive and came out within a few days to measure and give us a price. Once we received the bid, all we had to do was call him and let him know what we wanted and put down a deposit. Because we ordered an Anderson Window, it took about four weeks for it to come in but they were able to install it within a week of it arriving at their shop. The install went well too--no complaints.

As a remodel, there will always be gotchas. We had a gotcha but John at Accurate made sure the issues were resolved and they completed the work. The install team led by Chris was dedicated to making us happy and we are. The bid was higher than the other guys but i'm certain the other guys would have asked for extra cost.

Used Accurate Window & Door for replacement of 8 windows throughout the house. They did a real nice job, I would recommend to others.

ACCURATE WINDOW & DOOR CENTER DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. THEY WERE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND HELPED US PICK OUT WHICH WINDOWS WOULD BE BEST FOR OUR NEW HOME. WE ENDED UP GETTING ANDERSON WINDOWS. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND TIMELY WITH THEIR SERVICE.
