Description of Work: The guy that performed the installation did a very nice job. He was very careful and considerate of my house and the furniture. He performed the service and installation just as I proposed in a reasonable amount of time. I was less impressed with the 2nd guy who programmed the universal remote as the remote did not completely work right after he left.

Description of Work: I had some software issues with my computer that Greg quickly and efficiently dealt with. I have used Greg 3 times and have been greatly impressed with his knowledge in matters pertaining to both software and hardware. I recommend him most highly and without qualification.

Description of Work: AHS was extremely helpful and responsive. I have installed home theatre systems for my previous two homes but was just too tired to do this one, myself, given the extent of installation. AHS was able to complete the job in ½ day and were very open about the way the bill worked out. They did a great job of working with odd corners and their cuts in the dry wall were clean and professional. I ended up having a compatibility problem with my Samsung TV and the Sonos Speakers, which they walked me through what i would need at Best Buy to fix, as well as a repair to my Samsung TV. They did that part, for free. Once the compatibility issue was resolved, AHS got on the phone with me to guide me through the remaining, minor connections, by myself.

Description of Work: Greg was extremely helpful to my wife and I during our family room remodel. He assisted us in picking great new electronic equipment and mounted a 47" flat screen above our fireplace. He was careful to recommend equipment that suited our needs. He also installed several flush speakers into our family room ceiling and patio area which work and look great! Greg was also very careful to map out all the work before cutting any holes in the walls to make sure no drywall repair would be needed etc. As a result, it is extremely enjoyable to watch TV and listen to music in our living room and patio. Description of Work: The first time I contacted Acoustical Home Solutions, I received a return call within a few days. However, when I decided to actually purchase his services and emailed and called him his response time was several weeks. He had some excuse for his slow response time; However, since that time he has never returned any of my calls or emails.

Description of Work: Greg was really good at deciding not only what we needed but what we could afford in our budget. Greg took care of getting all of the components that we needed and I confirmed that his prices were cheaper than I good buy through retailers. He showed up on time and worked 6 hours without stopping to get the job done. Highly recommend!

Description of Work: Greg,came by the house and gave us great ideas and an excellent quote on the project . He got here on time and did an excellent job and left our house spotless. He was a great communicator. He helped me with deciding on which TV to purchase . When finished,he educated us on our system and we feel very comfortable with using it. Description of Work: Greg installed low voltage cable wire in my bedroom so that I could have cable TV access. I thought it was going to be a HUGH job. We discussed it over the phone and he assured me it would not be as difficult as I thought it to be. His professionalism over the phone led me to make a spontanious decision for him to come out to my home and do the job. He is one of the most professional as well as nicest persons I have done business with in a long time. I can only say he excelled in every area of doing the job as well as going the extra mile and also fixing another cable wiring issue I had..Thank you Greg for a wonderful experience.

Description of Work: I called Greg at Accoustical Home Solutions because our home theater system was not performing as well as I thought it should. I have had the system for several years in a basement family room and it worked OK, but did not provide good surround sound. I contacted Greg about 10:00AM Friday and he told me he was going by my house on the way home and could stop by...in about an hour. And an hour later he and his partner (his wife) knocked on the front door. They spent over an hour looking at my home theater system and made modifications to improve the sound (most of the changes involved moving various connector wires, but they also added a new sound connector wire from their truck and plugged in one wire which had not been connected during installation). The result of their efforts was a dramatically improved surround sound system. Greg charged me $65 (which included a $15 connector wire). I am very pleased with the service, the result and the price!

Description of Work: The home theater system with satellite TV in our RV was not working properly.

Description of Work: The company came in and had to retrofit the system and they also had to add electrical to the system. They were able to do all three floors of my house. I needed 3 outlets to each and every corner of my home.

Description of Work: They Pre wired for a security system which included 2 keypads, 2 motion detectors, windows and doors. Then they came back and trimmed everything.

Description of Work: Retrofitted 4 sets of outdoor speakers. Retrofitted kitchen speakers. They also installed volume controls where needed. I had this contractor pre wire for audio and video in my basement. Then he came back when basement was complete and put in my 52" TV and surround sound. They gave me a fair price on the TV and speakers as well as the subwoofer. They were on time and stayed within my budget. They also listen to me and did not try to sell me on equipment I did not need like some of the bigger stores did. I would highly recommend them to my friends and neighbors! They cleaned up when they were finished and I have been able to call them if I had questions with my new system!
