+ -1 moreVery good about answering the phone, messages, and showing up on time (a rare treat these days!). Dan came out to scope the job and provide a prompt estimate. We were very impressed by his knoledge and receptiveness. The crew came a few days later and took time being judicious about pruning so the trees don't look un-natural. Dan clearly knows his stuff and we would highly recommend Woodchuck to anyone needing tree work.
Description of Work: Trimmed and pruned approximately 8 mature trees (box elder, pine, maple, aspen, etc), mostly from the ground, but some climbing required. Cleared away brush, cleaned yard, and chipped up the waste. (Apologies for not posting the cost of service...just my general policy...but it was "bigger than a breadbox but smaller than a 747").

Description of Work: They removed a pine tree (approximately 12-14 inches diameter at the stump and about 30 feet tall) that was leaning so far toward my neighbors property that the top was over his yard. The Woodchuck owner, Dan Bowman, climbed the tree and took it down in small pieces so that no damage was done to either yard.

+ -1 moreWe have very large willow trees that we try to trim way back every five years or so. We had hoped because Woodchuck has a bucket truck, they could get the tops more easily than we can with ladders. We are happy to have the trees trimmed but they were left pretty raggedy and uneven, with some branches still sticking up. The crew had to come back because they forgot to do one tree. They did clean up after themselves nicely. I wish the trees were more even.
