Description of Work: The SERVPRO franchise based in Durango, CO, initially did not meet their bid stipulations and commitments in installing a sump pump and vapor barrier in the crawl space of my house. The quality of the work was extremely poor and they attempted to hide aspects of the proposed work that they did not do. They left, removed their equipment, and emailed me a invoice for the completed work before the electrical supply was run to the sump pump. When confronted concerning the quality of the work, their managers tried to avoid anything but what would have been another unsatisfactory proposed fix. They did subsequently remove their initial work and corrected the extensive deficiencies in the quality of their work in installing the vapor barrier. The franchise owner and the "Production Manager" were totally uncooperative in not providing any guarantee to me for the quality and performance of their work in creating trenches to the sump pump such the trenches would be adequate to route moisture to the sump pump. This guarantee for a reasonable time period had been requested when the bid was received and before authorization to perform the work was given.
