My wife and I did quite a bit of research before selecting our inspector. With a lack of knowledge of the Durango, CO inspectors, we selected Four Corners Inspection Service Inc. because Holly was an ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors) Inspector as well as being certified to inspect FHA and VA homes. Holly did a fantastic job. We used her services (home inspection and radon test) for two different properties. During the first house inspection, Holly uncovered some foundation issues that the owner did not want to resolve. She definitely saved us future problems/issues. Holly was extremely responsive and thorough. The inspection report was very detailed but at the same time "readable." In addition, Holly was always available to provide further clarification and answer any questions my wife and I had about each of the properties being inspected. My wife and I have read a number of home inspections and we find Holly's work to be a step above the rest. Please note that she is a little more expensive than the other possible inspectors in Durango or even Farmington. However, for us, it was money well spent.

Four Corners Inspection returned my call right away and arrived on time for the inspection. I was allowed to be there for the inspection and so I learned valuable information as Holly went through (and under and above) the house. The inspection taught me a lot about the home I was hoping to purchase. It was my first home and I had lots of extra questions. I learned what needed to be fixed right away and what could wait (until I had more money). She also ran a radon test for me. My real estate agent used the information to get the sellers to fix the biggest issues before I moved in.
