I can't explain enough how much I value Lori's assistance. My mortgage lender set forth so many obstacles that there were times that I didn't think the sale would go through. But Lori was committed to see the sale happen and protected my best interests every step of the way. She is familiar with issues specific to rural properties such as irrigation rights, tap fees, restrictions and so on, as well as being very familiar with the Montezuma County community. She has a professional and warm style, and is really terrific to work with. I would highly recommend her for real estate transactions in southwestern Colorado.
Description of Work: Lori Elworthy of Coldwell Banker was my buying agent as we relocated to Montezuma County, Colorado. Lori met us in September, drove us to see many houses, and masterfully put in an offer on the house we wanted. I had a lending agent that I had worked with before and was able to get a great rate, but they were not familiar with the rural region and that became problematic later on in the process. Lori met each obstacle with professional grace, redrafting offers, answering questions promptly, and communicating effective with the seller's agent as well as my lender. We were able to close on our house with a contingency for the sale of my other home on time.
