I hired Benjamin Franklin Plumbing to replace my water heater. The person I talked to on the phone was very nice and seemed trust worthy. I told him I was in a bind and needed my water heater replaced as soon as possible. They said it would be done that day. I asked for a rough price. He said his plumber would let me know. There was nothing usual about the job. My only problem is that thy charge me $1700.10 to do the job. Earlier this year I had a water heater replaced for $850.00. I feel I really got ripped off on the price of that water heater from Benjamin Franklin Plumbing.

It took over a month for the part they ordered to arrive. Whenever i called to find out when work would be done they simply told me they had not received the part. They apparently didn't feel it necessary to push their supplier. This was all after their serviceman saying parts were easy to get and would only take a few days.

Very reliable did a fast and clean installation in my absents. Very knowliable

FAST arrival to fix a leak in my in-floor radiant heat system. Service was professional and clean. He even cleaned up the mechanical room a bit! This isn't my first good experience, either, which has finally inspired a review. Years ago, my neighbor that I share a wall with had a case of frozen pipes that burst and it was a total mess. These guys showed up with a response time that 911 would have been proud of and got the pipes fixed within an hour. I was super impressed at how the tech was able to quickly trace the breaks from the freeze, which there were about 5 or 6 of them, and at least 2 of those were hidden in drywall. He was careful to make only the necessary-sized holes in the drywall to fix the problem. With every move, he was explaining what he was doing, cleaning up after himself, and had a calm demeanor. These guys are super pro and I'm happy to recommend them.

They were supposed too tighten and put new gaskets on faucets and faucet handles and clear out one drain he did clear drain and tightened a few faucets but did not put on new gaskets or tighten everything. Our powder room faucet started leaking later in the day. Will not use them again. The charge was ridiculous for the work that was done. It is something I can fix myself. I just ordered all the parts I need to correct the problems that he left.

we wanted a tankless water heater - but this gentleman helped us to understand the basics - water heater vs tankless... and we ended up deciding on traditional... due to severe weather. We certainly appreciate his honesty, his personable approach, and his efficiency!
