Brandon responded quickly to my inquiry and informed me that his company focuses on new window installation, but offered a consultation as well as a reference to a colleague who provides window repair services. We contacted the reference who was professional and prompt in setting up an appointment to provide an estimate.When we had some problems getting in contact with this person a few weeks later, I again contacted Brandon at Zen who quickly looked into the issue and located two additional referrals willing to do our repairs. He indicated that he will follow up with me in a week to find out if we are satisfied with the referrals so that he will know whether to make those referrals again in the future.I was extremely impressed by Brandon's level of attention, responsiveness, professionalism, and willingness to go out of his way to help someone who is not even an immediate potential customer. After our experiences with other contractors, even ones with high ratings on this site, this was a breath of fresh air. Although we are not ready to replace our windows now, Zen Windows will definitely be our first call when we are. Thanks!

By and large, it turned out well, however, there was one glitch. I actually purchased six windows and there was an extra charge which I knew that there would be. The glitch was that a guy came out and measured one window but the person who actually ordered the windows misread the measurements and so he ordered the wrong sized window. So, when they came out, the window did not fit. Meanwhile, they had taken my original window out so they had to put that back in and it took a little while, like two or three weeks, to order the other window in the right size. I knew that when they put in the windows that the frames around them were going to have to be repainted so I had scheduled painters to come out after they were there to repaint the frames. And so, when the painters came out, of course, that window had not been replaced because it was being reordered in the right size so it ended up that the painters could not paint that one. So, after they came out and replace that window, I had to get up on the roof and repaint it. I do not know how much I paid them on top of the big deal price but it was the cost of one extra window and I do not remember what month I used the deal. They were good except for that one kind of considerable glitch that probably does not happen most of the time but it caused some problems. I have not had any issues with the windows since the service was provided. They seemed to be good. I probably would use them again in the future but I hope that they would not make that mistake again.

I was floored by how great it was to work with Zen Windows. I don't even know where to start! First off, Brandon works just like the name of his company: zen-like. Because this was a big investment on my end, I was really nervous to pull the trigger. Brandon was very patient with me as I asked a million questions and took 4 weeks to officially make the order. He never pressured me. He also responded to my questions immediately - if not within an hour then certainly by the end of the day. Zen Windows was extremely flexible and generous. They threw in freebies and honored the Angie's List deal price even though the deal had expired by the time I made the order. In terms of payment, I was told I could pay however I wanted. If I wanted to split my payment up, I could do that and he wouldn't charge any interest. If I wanted to pay by credit card even though they preferred a check, I was able to do that. I never even received a message from Brandon about making the payment after the install was complete. He trusted me that I would make it in my own time. This flexibility was border-line bizzare! The install would have only taken one day if not for the weather. They had to delay the outside portion because of blizzard-like conditions, but they came back the very next day in the morning and finished it within 2 hours. It didn't disrupt our day at all. The crew kept the house clean and they were very polite and punctual. We're very happy with the product. Our windows were from the 70's - single pane with aluminum framing. There would literally be ice forming inside of our house. Now, the house is almost too warm when we have the heat on because the windows do such a great job of not letting it leak out! For a big investment like this, you want to work with a company that makes you feel comfortable, confident and not pressured. Zen Windows does just that!

They did what they said and were ready to go very quickly. They were accommodating with scheduling changes. They didn’t leave a mess and scheduling was easy.

I had a very large, old, window that needed to be replaced. I contacted Zen Windows and in less than a day I had an online quote from Brandon for two different types of replacement windows. The rest of the process was easy and quick - from measuring the space, to placing the order, all the way through to installation! Each time I interacted with Brandon I was so impressed with his friendly and easy going style - he answered my questions thoroughly and patiently - not to mention he gave me a good, fair price! The windows were installed this past weekend and the crew was professional and friendly, and they took great care of my home while they were working. Now I have nice, beautiful new windows that I love. Next time I in the market for windows I am definitely going to call Brandon and his crew again.

The windows were fairly standard, double pane, energy efficient. They provided the windows. They finished the installation in about 6 hours.

The original deal is totally acceptable to me, but two other windows had to be added to the job. Zen's quoted cost for the other two windows is too expensive, so the entire job has to be cancelled. Zen has been perfectly helpful throughout the process. We just could not agree on the cost of the two extra windows. I may well use Zen in the future.

At first, I was disillusioned and concerned, because the product shown on Angie's List was a glass patio door with colonnade columns within the glass. I was told that the door purchased did not have these columns and was just a plain glass door and the colonnade column doors were more expensive. When I expressed my concern, Brandon, Zen Company owner, honored the doors pictured on Angie's list at the quoted price. The service men, Doug and Dale, were exceptional. I had never had workers present at the exact time stated and they did this twice...once to measure the existing door and once to install the new glass doors. They were detailed about the installation, respectful of my home and cleaned up after the job meticulously. I am exceptionally pleased with this company. I would add to this comment that I am very critical and praise does not come easily so consider such if you choose this company.

The windows are really good. It went pretty well. They accepted the coupon. There were additional charges. There was a little misunderstanding as to exactly what the price was but we had it worked out with how things are measured. We ended up paying another $600 - $700. They were very responsive. They got in touch really quickly. They were very professional. They got out and did the measuring and got the set ordered. They were really on top of what they did. They did a good quality job. They continued to check back with me to make sure that I was happy with the quality of work that they have done. It was good customer service.

They did an amazing job with the installation. I was home the whole time while they replaced 5 larger windows in my house. They arrived at around 9a and by 12n they had all the new windows up. They spent the rest of the afternoon sealing and caulking. They were so neat and quiet, you could hardly tell there was such a big job going on in the house. I had heard horror stories of broken glass when old windows were being removed, but there was not a single broken window in my house. I was very impressed with the work.

I bought the 4 windows for $1,495 Big Deal and I can't say enough about how thrilled I am with Zen Windows!!! The crew was conscientious and polite. They were expert installers who explained every step of the process as they went along. and left the work areas clean .I had old, ugly rotting window frames and asked if they could do something about them. They showed me aluminum frames that looked great and I had them installed for an incredibly reasonable price. I had one window sill that was cracked and the replaced it. The windows are good quality and look beautiful. Every interaction I had with Brandon was fantastic., he truly knows how to treat customers right. I had estimates from other companies and they were hour long annoying sales pitches. With Zen Windows the process was simple,direct and frankly, I didn't feel taken advantage of.. I have recommended them to family and friends and I will definitely be using them in the future!

The window replacements in the rental property went well. We had trouble with one window in my home not opening properly, as well as trouble coordinating staff to come out and fix it. The owne, Brad, was always on top of it and extremely responsive. Brad came out himself and adjusted the window until it worked just right. Despite the frustrations I had, all of which were resolved satisfactorily in the end, I would recommend this company because the product is top notch, and the committment to service and customer satisfaction is as good as it gets. Because of the owner's committment to quality and customer satisfaction, I believe the scheduling and adjustment issues were not typical of Zen Windows usual service. The other seven windows I bought all worked perfectly from the start. I plan to use this company again, and I love my new windows!

As per my last review, everything went smoothly once again! Zen Windows proved their service the first time and I wanted to see if they were as good as I thought...they were. This time I had the second of Brandon's two installation crews and they were excellent just like the first crew! I originally rescheduled due to some ridiculously cold weather, but then the forecast changed and I just decided to go ahead and get the job done (although I'm sure they would have kindly rescheduled again). The crew showed up on time and ready to work even in the cold conditions. You won't hear a single complaint from these guys! One thing that REALLY impressed me was the fact that I could really tell that they were extremely proud of doing a quality installation. Really nice to see folks enjoying what they are doing and doing it well! I even had them like at a troublesome sliding door of mine and they did a quick a couple quick adjustments to see if they could help out. As before, a really great experience! I can't see having a bad experience with this company because it is obvious that they believe that great customer service will ultimately build a profitable business. I worked with both of their crews and they attest that Brandon treats them well and is great to work for. This is important to me when I'm supporting a business with my dollars. Rest easy, Zen's got you covered.

I bought the ridiculously awesomely-priced Angie's List coupon for $975 for 5 windows and then decided to pay extra for some new sills to go with them for another $275. Zen Windows was fantastic through the whole process! Brandon (the owner) returns emails day and night to make sure that everything is going smoothly. Brandon originally came to do the window measurements and assumed that we would want to order our replacement windows in the same way that the previous ones were (horizontal sliders vs. previous sliders). When I realized that a different window was probably ordered than what I desired, I contacted Brandon to see what he could do. He understood the miscommunication and immediately ordered new ones even though he would be eating the cost on the first windows...but made NO qualms about it. Zen's crew came out and did a great job installing the windows and were in and out quickly. They were pleasant and polite at all times. Scheduling was easy and they were on time and ready to go! My opinion of a company not usually based on mistakes made, but rather, on how those mistakes are dealt with. Brandon realized he may not have asked exactly which windows I wanted, so he fixed the problem without a problem. He is committed to building a business based on excellent customer service and has PROVEN this. That is why I subsequently bought another 8 windows from him!

Installation date has been postponed due to bad weather in the Denver Metro Area last week.

The quoting process with Zen was easy, first done online to get a feel for the cost and then two guys came out to get the specific measurements. I quoted several other companies and found that Zen was not the absolute lowest bid but for the windows I bought and the service rendered they were very competitive. Once I agreed to the quote it took about three weeks for the windows to arrive. No down payment was required. The crew showed up a little late but I received a call in advance telling me they were running behind which is always appreciated. The crew clearly knew what they were doing and finished the job in about five hours. They took care to lay down drop clothes where they were working and also wore booties over their shoes when they were inside the house. The foreman of the team was courteous and did a great job answering my questions. Once the windows were installed I double checked everything and found it all to my satisfaction, including everything getting put back where it belonged, I had shutters that they had to take down to install some of the windows. I did have to do a little touch up on some paint around the inside of the windows but it was minimal and not unexpected, taking out aluminum frames like I had is bound to create a little ding here and there. The owner, Brandon, called about an hour after they had finished their work to check on how it went. Overall my experience with Zen was excellent, all involved were professional and it was apparent that the installers knew what they were doing.

My experience with windows tells me to 1) Buy the best glass. Its not that much more per square foot. 2) If you need to save, buy a less expensive frame but put the best glass in it. 3) Get the best installer you can. Many of the window sellers farm out the install. It is hit or miss with all of them. I got a great installer with Champion and a so so one with Zen.

They did a good job. They came out to measure and order the windows. I paid additional fee only because I requested more. I thought their pricing was pretty good. They seem professional and responsive. The quality of work was good.

Very pleased with the installation. Very cabable people who seemed to want to do a superior job. The windows are average quality-but that was what I expected. The service was excellent. They especially did a good job on the wood framing of the windows both outside and inside.
