I will just state that the experience with Brandon and Jamie, along with all of their workers was a worthwhile experience. The installers care about their work!!! They did a superb job and everything was done to my satisfaction! I will use them again to replace my remaining windows.

We received quotes from the big box stores along with some of the window companies you see advertise on TV in the in Denver area. One of the major window providers in the area did not show for their scheduled estimating appointment so we easily culled them. The initial process was painful so we joined Angie's List so we could benefit from the reviews. That is where found Zen Windows which had great reviews so we called them and talked to Brandon, he and his wife own the company. The phone call went great! We sent Brandon our measurements and he provided a quote within 30 minutes. This is where things with the other companies seemed a little sketchy but not with Zen Windows. The other big box companies would provide their initial quote and then the installer would come out and the price would increase, drastically. Based on this experience we assumed the same would happen with Zen Windows so I asked Brandon about this and explained our past experiences. Brandon stated this is the price which will not change unless we did not disclose the correct details. So I thought "this is different, in a good way". Brandon stated "that is why they named the company Zen Windows because it is supposed to be a very easy no stress process". The installers (Doug and Dale) came out when scheduled on time and were very quick and thorough. The price changed slightly because we decided to have the entire old window system removed and installed with the new windows. This was a great decision because they are better insulated now and the windows are a few inches larger which enhance our front range views. The windows were ordered and about three weeks later we were scheduled for an install. The installers (Doug and Dale) arrived as planned on Monday morning and delivered the windows and materials. They were VERY professional, courteous and went through great measures to keep our house clean during the process. Due to the amount of framing and trim work required, they worked 7 days straight to complete the project and we could not be happier. We purchased this 40 year old home a year ago as a fixer upper and this has been the BEST and easiest project to date and we have basically rebuilt this home. We would recommend Zen Windows to anyone and can's say enough good things about them!

For about $1600 I got 4 double-hung windows, double-pane, that were custom made for the opening to replace older leaky windows. They communicated well with me, mostly by e-mail, about my particular preferences. What I didn't expect was the additional cost for working in an older building, which (Zen informed me) was a required fee because of the "possibility" of lead-based paint. This was a significant amount: $65/per window. That kind of took away the bargain feeling for me, and since it was unanticipated I felt sketchy about it, but paid it nonetheless. It was disclosed after I bought an Angie's List coupon but before the work was commissioned. Anyway, the communication was excellent, the windows appear to be top of the line, and they came precisely when they said they would, did clean work, good clean-up, etc. I'd use them again, but will double-check on the lead paint deal first.

I bought the "4 windows for $1495 and needed a 5th replaced. In total I paid an additional $1705 - $640 per window, not the $375 the deal implied. Even though various colors are shown in the brochure as available on these custom windows, I was charged $150 per window extra because I didn't want white interior. The windows seem to be fine and the installers did a good job and were very professional. Getting information from the owner was like pulling teeth and frustrating - it takes several emails to get something answered in whole. For example, I was given no warranty and when I asked for it I was told that it was on an email that was sent over 2 months ago. I think that when someone spends $3200 you can give them the written warranty. Overall, I am not sure if I was overcharged or if I would use them again. I would prefer someone who doesn't solely operate via email. Maybe this is normal but I have never done it before so wouldn't know. Maybe I should have handled it differently.

Installed 4 new windows in one day. No sales person to deal with. The owner provided a quote after someone came by to measure and the installer was on time and left the work area clean. Very friendly and easy to work with. I would definitely use them again!

The price was good and the 6 windows were ready one week earlier than promised. The installers showed up on time and did a great job! Once installed the new windows look terrific!! They are of excellent quality and complement the house. The installers were very professional and cleaned up after the job was completed. I would definitely use Zen Windows again.

My home was built in 1900 so was really looking forward to my first winter without ice and plastic on my windows. Zen Windows exceeded my expectations in providing both a high quality product and professional service delivery that is hard to find these days. The Zen team arrived at the agreed upon time for both measurement and installation. They provided expert installation in a timely manner and were thorough in cleaning up. After installation I had a few questions regarding the windows and their operation. Brandon responded promptly to my email, came to my home the following day and made a few adjustments. I could not be happier with this experience and do not hesitate to recommend Zen Windows to all looking for a quality product from an experienced and trusted vendor.

Zen windows did an awesome job. The provided me with several different quotes based on the big deal offer and some of the upgrades I wanted to do. Once I settled on price and paid for the coupon, they had an estimator out within the next few weeks (mostly due to my crazy schedule). Its took a few weeks to ge thte windows made, and another few weeks to agree on an installation date. The installation took half a day, and the installers did a great job. They were fast, friendly, and completely focused on their job. Iwas very impressed with the overall service, price and installation. We've had the windows for a few months and they seem to be very good quality. I'll wait an see how they do with the CO winter nights, but so good. I plan to use Zen windows for my window purchases in the future. Thanks!

I had a garage, double pane window with a shattered outer pane. I called Zen Windows to get pricing for a replacement. I had tried a number of "Window" places without getting any returned phone calls. Zen did call back and told me that to have them come out to repair a single window would be way more expensive than necessary. They specialize in replacement windows and typically don't take single-window jobs. They did, however, offer me a referral to Insight Glass, which was excellent. I applaud Zen's professionalism and if/when I need replacement windows they will be at the top of my list.

After two other estimates it was a pleasure doing business with a company that gave you the best price first instead of the "if you sign right now, and if you let us put a sign in your yard" routine. The product is of superior quality and the installers were courteous and very professional. We were given everything we had been told we would receive and then some. One of the windows had a defect from the factory that was pointed out to us by the installer and a replacement was ordered before they left. We may have never noticed the defect. When that replacement arrived we were notified it had arrived and an appointment was made for the installation. We were also asked if there were any other problems that needed to be addressed. The installers worked with us to find a time that worked with our schedule. The installers then met all appointment times. The old windows and doors along with all other debris were removed at the end of each day and our house was put back as close as it could be while under construction. All in all one of the most pleasant construction experiences anyone could ask for. I have and will continue to recommend Zen Windows to anyone that asks.

I had contacted this vendor in September as we were new to Denver. I was confused and asked for replacement glass not windows and he was kind enough to tell me that was not a service he provided, however in the mountains the cell signal is bad and we were disconnected. I now need about 56 windows (entire windows) replaced and I reached out to him yesterday Oct 22 for an appt for another quote. This was his response posted on Angies list: Zen Windows of Denver LLC28 minutes agoI left you a message. I had talked to you back on Sept 24th about your windows and you were wanting to replace the glass. I told you we don't replace glass, we replace the whole window and you hung up on me. I don't think we will be the right company for you. Good luck with your window project. I tried to explain that I am not a rude person and hanging up on him was not what happened. I then inquired, due to the message above, if he wanted to deal with me given the circumstance and he replied "no due to my attitude" so I thanked him and hung up. .This is the worst customer service I have ever gotten thus far in Denver. First you should call the customer not post a message on Angie's list with an unprofessional tone. Had he called me to discuss this he would of had at least a $120,000.00 job and that was only the first floor. I can not in good faith recommend a vendor like this if you can not even get to the first step of a quote

Excellent service. Removed old windows and installed all 9 in one day. special fit for one window that was smaller than the one it replaced. They seem to have real pride in their work. Excellent. This was for a rental property. I will likely come back to them for windows in my own home.

I was promptly contacted after purchasing a coupon from this company. Workers came out to measure the windows and the same workers installed them when the windows arrived. This company was always professional, prompt and did what they said they would do. The replacement is of good quality and I would have replaced more windows if I could afford at this time.

His price was great! It was less than half of another estimate I received. I emailed Brandon for a week before purchasing the Big Deal. He was very prompt and responsive to answer all of my questions. He order the windows, brought them right out, and installed them all very promptly. He had to re-order one screen and as soon as it was in, he came right out and installed it. He asked me at the end of the process if I was happy with everything before ever asking for any money for the job. The guys he has working for him did a super job! They took all of their trash and materials with them! I would recommend them to anyone! I was very pleased with this service!

excellent. The process was extremely smooth and organized. The product is great, the install and measurement went on schedule and executed perfectly. The cost was as expected and no overcharges or extras.

Zen Windows sent an employee to measure for the windows, then they ordered the windows. It took about 3 weeks for them to get the windows then they called me again to schedule for installation. They arrived on time and installed the windows with little disruption. One of the windows had a broken pane, so they ordered a replaced insert for that window. One window could not be installed on that day because I had a window-mount swamp cooler I did not want to remove. They agreed to come back and install that window once I removed the swamp cooler in Late September or early October at no extra charge. Very easy to work with and this was a Great DEAL!

Server was very good and the crew cleaned up after. The windows are vinyl and I won't know how well they will hold up for a few years. Right now they look good and work well.

When I purchased the coupon from Angie's List to replace 5 windows for $970. They called and came in to take measurements and a couple weeks down the road they called again to install the windows. Installation was Fabulous and totally awesome! Brandon and Jamie were superb in their communication, Fabulous in getting the job done and totally awesome in clean up. We feel we got an exceptional price for replacement of 5 windows using an Angie's List Big Deal for Zen Windows. From first contact, which occurred the same day we purchased the Big Deal, we were told what to expect and it all happened exactly as explained. Everything was cleaned up and trash hauled away when the job was completed. We're very pleased.

Everything went very well. I went through the process of gathering quotes for window replacements and then put the project on hold. A few months later I got Zen's info from Angie's list and decided to give them a shot. Before I purchased the deal, I contacted Zen's and spoke to Brandon about the deal and the additional cost of adding extra windows. He was very helpful, answering all my questions, giving and sending me product descriptions and even bringing a sample window over for me to look at. The quote was ready within 24 hours and I went for it. Order time was about two weeks, just as Brandon said it would be. After the windows arrived it took about a week to schedule the actual install. I had to work around a tight schedule and they complied. The install was performed by two hired workers who did a great job. From the interior of the house you can barely tell the windows were replaced and they look great. The workers were careful with the mess, hanging plastic to contain it and cleaning up afterwards. Overall I was ver satisfied with the entire process. The price was right, the process was well managed and the install went smoothly. If you like the quality of the windows, go with these guys!

We recently purchased a home that had a few windows replaced/updated, but others were in very bad shape (cracked, difficult to open, cold, noisy). We purchasied an Angies Big Deal from Zen windows and couldn't be happier. They were very professional. They sent information out about their business and windows, when the scheduler came out to measure he brought a sample window so we could see what we were getting. One window was in the basement and Brandon had to make some adjustments to the order to make sure it met fire code. When the installers came, they got right to work after covering all the work areas with tarps. It was clear they were experienced and knew what they were doing. It took about five hours from start to finish. They left the areas inside and outside clean. Brandon followed up the next day to make sure we were happy and we most definitely are! From the time of the original purchase to the measuring to the installation, Zen is a great company to do business with.

It went very well as expected and did not encounter any difficulties with any of the team members. Everyone was professional and cordial and they went above and beyond to get the job done despite the difficulties with the outer storm windows. Anybody would charge me extra just for the difficulty alone but not these guys. These guys have extensive experience and knew what to expect and made it happen. We are grateful for their professionalism and honesty. THANKS!

I would highly recommend Zen Windows of Denver with a 5 Star rating! The owners were extremely customer service oriented and went that extra mile to be sure the windows fit our needs as well as our budget. They arrived on time, took their time installing each window, and cleaned up nicely after the job was completed. I would never go back to the major stores again now that I realize that I can get a higher quality product at a better price and exact installation from Zen Windows! I always try to support the local small businesses because I have found that since they own the business their reputation is on the line...and that matters! My experiences with small business owners is that they will make sure the job is done professionally, correctly, and that the customer is so satisfied that they would use them again or eagerly refer them to a friend. I was extremely happy with the windows that Zen Windows installed at my daughter's house, and the problems that the new windows solved. I would suggest that you get your free estimate and judge for yourself!
