Initially, we asked Nestor, the owner, to come out and give us a preliminary idea of what would be involved in putting the design together. For $100 he came out, looked at the yard (and got some rough measurements), and then spend a good 2 hours with us to find out exactly how we wanted to use the yard and what types of things we liked (colors, gardening skills, etc.). He provided us with an estimate for doing a complete landscape design, and we agreed to move forward with him. Over the next month, he came out to our house several times to measure and to review his plans as they were coming together. The end result was more than we could have ever hoped for. He designed a beautiful, inviting, and functional back yard that incorporated everything we wanted. But more importantly, he provided us with a design and itemized listing of each and every tree, shrub, bush, and plant for all areas of the yard (including drawings of locations). We did not fully appreciate this until we started to look up the plants and put them in the ground. The color, beauty, and functionality (not to mention low maintenance) of the overall design is breathtaking. We could never have done this on our own. The value of the design is far greater than the price we paid. We cannot express how pleased we are with his service.
