My husband and I called Taki Pappas, owner of Wave Designs, to get a estimate on what it would cost to hook up some existing speakers in our new condo. He returned my call right away and was able to come over within the next day or so. He showed up on time, was very open to working within our budget, and brought some ideas to the table given the layout of our home. As we discussed what our needs were and looked at the existing equipment that the previous owner had installed, it became clear that adding some speakers in our living room, as well as a wireless system and speaker for our bedroom, would be the best option with the best quality sound. Taki suggested and arranged for us to meet with him offsite later that week so we could check out the system he recommended before committing to purchasing, which allowed us to experience the music quality and see the size/options for the Sonos speaker and receiver system. Not once did we feel pressured to buy or commit to anything we weren't comfortable with - if anything, Taki kept our budget and needs in mind at all times and went to great lengths to find equipment that would give us the most "bang for our buck." On install day, in the middle of the install, we threw Taki a curve ball by deciding to upgrade our receiver, and he actually called around the find exactly the right item at the best possible price, then drove to pick it up so that we could have everything up & running that afternoon. He made sure that the placement of the speakers worked with our decor, worked efficiently and completely cleaned up when he was finished. He also took the time to make sure we were comfortable with using the software that controlled the Sonos wireless system, which for two not-so-tech-savvy people, was much appreciated!! Taki also offered to come back, at any time, to review everything with us and answer any questions we might have after having a chance to use the system. We felt from day one that Taki was extremely knowledgeable, ethical, enthusiastic about music and home A/V technology, getting the best system for each client's needs and budget, and overall was just a really nice person to work with - and we couldn't be happier with our new stereo system!
