Rich, the installer/technician arrived on time and did a wonderful job. The installation took nearly 6 hours and the old furnace was removed. We have utilized Walrath annually for many years to service our old furnace and had complete confidence in them when it came time to replace our furnace. We would enthusiastically recommend Walrath to anyone needing furnace service, repair or installation.

It went great. I called earlier in the week and told a rep my issue and need for repair on my furnace which was having issues, even after being reviewed by another long used service a couple of months prior. Rep gave my information and all my concerns to their service manager. Service Manager called me back the same day and helped me trouble shoot the problem over the phone. We set up a service call for two days later. Technician (Scott) came by at the scheduled time, and professionally evaluated my furnace and fixed the problem in a timely manner. He also did some important adjustments and testing. He also answered all my novice questions with friendly conversation. Everything is working great and I am extremely satisfied. This was very important to me because my heat was cutting out several times a day. Now my house will be warm and inviting for my new grandson who is to be born in the next couple of days and will be living at my house.

They arrived early in the a.m. (as they stated they would) and went right to work). I have used Walrath since my very first AC, 20 years ago, and have always stayed with them...like the nice, caring, family owned company and how they have treated me over the years. They also had to change the coils on top of the furnace and everything went super smooth! I highly recommend them to others. Just call Don and you can trust him!!!

Always on time and get the job done right. Have even come back free of charge to fix up a small leak in the water line. We used them to install and maintain our evaporative cooler, would highly recommend.

They are always on time. The costs are easy to understand and they don't change them around. We've done business with them for quite a while, so we must like them. Like a lot of heating and air conditioning companies their annual contract gives us seasonal maintenance on both heating and air conditioning. We pay a certain amount of money and that works well for us. The people are well trained and not stormed through our house with dirty boots. There is nothing to complain about them.

They are thoroughness of what they did when they were here was excellent. After they were done, the service guy took an additional half an hour to review the entire check with me.

What a life-saver! We had just bought a recently remodeled house with lots of plumbing and HVAC problems. So our realtor recommended Walrath, who sent Rich out same day. Rich was fantastic! Found and fixed two gas leaks (the installer had used the wrong-sized fittings), replaced wrong-sized duct work, and emptied out one duct that was blocked and filled with a bucket-full of construction debris. Rich explained everything along the way and was very professional and knowledgeable. I can't say enough good things about Walrath!!

We had a really bad cold snap and it was a really cold evening but our heater was broken. The guy showed up when he was able to, he took a look, and he figured out what was going on. He had to leave to do other repairs and he came back early in the morning. He did what he could but it was just a bad time for that to happen. I just wish they had more people available.

Don Downs came out to our home for the estimate. He was EXCELLENT. He was very thorough in examining our home both inside and out to determine what size AC unit to install and what other options we had for cooling our exceedingly hot west facing upstairs master bedroom. Our home has some issues with undersized duct work and a furnace that was installed incorrectly due to the builder's incompetence. Don was very honest about what to expect due to the duct work he made it clear from the start that it would be harder to cool the upstairs. Don suggested installing another return vent in the upstairs hallway and one in the master bedroom. He also suggested an attic fan and a mushroom vent to try and alleviate the heat. He was very thorough in explaining all of the plans to us and how everything would work. He took a lot of time to answer all of our questions and it was clear to us that he was very knowledgeable. Don's team came out (I forget their names) as scheduled to install the AC, humidifier, control panels, attic fan and mushroom vent, and the two return vents. They were very polite and took care to cover the floor to make sure it didn't get dirty. The arrived right on schedule at 8 am and were done with everything by about 5:30 pm. I was impressed that there were NO signs of construction dust where the vent were cut- they did a great job cleaning up and everything looked neat and well placed. The AC has been working well. As expected the upstairs is not as cool as I would like it to be (due to the undersized duct work not anything to do with the AC) so I called Don to see if there was anything else we could do short of ripping out all of the duct work. He took a lot of time to explain other options and said if I had any other questions I could call on his cell at anytime. He has been very available to answer questions which is refreshing.
