We just had our 35-year-old house painted by Vivax ~ What a fabulous, professional organization! From the time we called for an estimate to the completion of the job, we were impressed with the efficiency and professionalism of everyone we worked with. Karlyn, our Project Manager, and Boris, our Foreman, were amazing! The Crew was thorough and did a beautiful job! We chose to get the six-year warranty, which we know the buyers of our home will appreciate! Thank You again to Karlyn and Boris and Crew for a wonderful painting experience!!

I had Vivax back out for touch-up as part of the 7 year warranty that was included. They showed up and resolved issues promptly.

They did a good job and they were very pleasant. I got one other quote and it was just about the same price. Quality was good.

This review was hard to rate. The experience started out as a definite 'F', but through the diligence of the Project Manager, things worked out. For us, to recommend a company we expect things to go correctly the first time around. As you can read below, it did not go smoothly, and we don't feel comfortable recommending Vivax for house painting. Vivax was highly rated and reviewed online, so we decided to go with them. Our experience with Vivax started out well, but did not go well. First, the Project Planner met with us and answered all questions. We were told and shown literature that explained their procedures and level of prep work & the quality of workmanship that would be performed. ie. loose paint would be scraped, seams & cracks would be caulked, nails pounded in, etc. The project commenced with a pressure wash, followed by a meeting with the Project Manager. PM left and the prep work and painting began. We were home the entire time and noticed how quickly things were proceeding. Very little prep work was done. Some of the prep work was even done incorrectly. Painting was extremely sloppy and some areas were not even painted. Other areas were unevenly painted and the original house color showed through the new paint. Drips were running down, trim paint accidentally painted onto wrought iron, caulking was not done, gummed up & smeared paint on downspouts, nails not pounded in, trim paint showing up on body paint, the list went on & on. I had to redirect one individual to put some protection between the downspout and the wrought iron so paint wouldn't get onto the wrought iron. Another redirection required me to request that a drop cloth be put down in our entryway while the young man painted our front door. A little after noon on the second day, I pointed out several items to the crew leader and asked if they were going to come back from lunch to finish up. His comment was that he really was planning on going home to have lunch with his family. In other words, "no". The whole experience was unbelievable. We contacted the PM who came out later in the day; he then mentioned that this was not his regular crew, but that he had borrowed them from another PM. He walked around our home and agreed that the prep & paint job was totally unacceptable and very sloppy. He stated that most of it was detail work and he would have his team come out to fix things, under his supervision. It would take about 2 hours to complete. The following day, we walked around our home and wrote down everything that we felt needed to be addressed. The list ended up being 4 pages written on notebook paper, which we then emailed to the PM for his records. After rescheduling the repair work several times, a team of three arrived to fix the problems. They did a great job and easily spent another 6 hours scraping, caulking, removing mistakes, repainting, etc. By the time it was all over, we were pleased with the results, BUT we unfortunately cannot recommend Vivax to others, even though the problems were resolved.

It was the best price we could find. It was a good price, which is why we chose them.

Great. We had replacement shutters which arrived a day or two late, and they worked with us to get them installed and painted.

Vivax was amazing. They gave me a quote that was only $200 more than my other 2 bids but they do so much more. That included repairing damaged wood on the house. Priming the bottom 3 rows of shingles, caulking everywhere! According to the Sherwin Williams where they got the paint- they use 3 times as much caulk as any other painter. It also included a 7 year warranty that covers any peeling bubbling or even woodpecker holes. They will come back and repaint anything. The crew was polite, cleaned up every day, and all did a really quality job!

Vivax gave us the most complete estimate of the 3 companies we asked for estimates. They did excellent preparation work, had the best warranty, and the finished job looks fantastic! The Vivax people were all fantastic to work with! Highly recommended!

He was professional and here when I got here. They gave me a quote, and I couldn't get it beat.

They wound up having to come back and scrape off the popcorn ceiling, re-popcorn it and re-texture my walls and repaint it because my popcorn fell off in chunks. It happened the same day. It looked like erupting volcanoes upside down. This took two months to find somebody to scrape the popcorn off, put new popcorn on and paint it again. They ended up getting a sub contractor to scrape and redo what they had done. The hold up was getting the sub insured. I have a charcoal black sill granite sink. You're not suppose to wash out paint brushes in this sink. I told them they could use my tub or my sink in the bathroom, I don't mind but you can not wash them in this sink. You could also go outside and use the hose. I came home to three rings of paint on my granite sink. There was paint on the bottom because they used that to slap the brushes back and forth. No cleaner would get it off. I called my stone guy, we tried everything this video said to do. We have to be careful because it is a composite sink. It is ruined because the paint is white from my ceiling and gold from my walls. You can't replace it because it is under mounted on granite. I hand picked this piece of granite. We finally found out that a special sponge/eraser would get the paint out. I used one box of those, and called and told them to come and finish getting this paint out. It took three boxes to clean it off. I also came home to spackle cracks.

They messed it up. They had to come back three times. It was warped and it popped at the seams. They had to come back and fix that twice. For responsiveness, a “C”, because that took months. I had rednecks and Hispanic people who couldn’t speak very much English. Only the boss could, and this is a nationwide company. A Hispanic guy and a woman showed up in a van with splotched paint all over it. It wasn’t like a Vivax truck or anything. I’m like, “are you kidding me!”

They were not good clean up. They were suppose to be here early in the morning, and they didn't show up until about 10:30 in the morning. They leave nails behind, and old scrapings from the old roof. They did cover half of my cobble stone, but what wasn't covered had nails and debris.

I highly recommend Vivax Pros if you are looking to have the exterior of your house painted. They just finished painting my house and it looks great! They were very thorough, prompt and clean. Vivax is lead certified and they were very careful about following that protocol on my old home. My project manager Karlyn was great at explaining everything, keeping me in the loop by sending pictures along the way and walking through to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction. Everyone I worked with at Vivax was extremely professional and knowledgable, I had a hard time choosing a contractor at first because there seemed to be several good ones out there and all the prices were pretty similar. What sold me on Vivax was that they could include everything I needed and they have a warranty that is far superior to their competition. I had a lot of questions going through the process and Chris was very responsive and made me comfortable that the job would get done properly. I then was taken care of by the project coordinator, Megan, who helped me get HOA approval and get set on the schedule. The woodworking went off without a hitch. Chris (PM) was very communicative and stopped by every day when work was being performed. Jose and Vicente are extremely hard workers and meticulous. I accidentally ordered the wrong size shutters and they immediately informed me so I could order the correct ones. They also came back to paint them at a later date even though they were busy with other jobs. All in all everything Vivax promised was delivered and more. They were able to deal with minor snags in the plans in a way that made me feel like my house was a top priority. Excellent work!

The bad part was they painted the house. I had an estimate for our deck to be sanded, and repainted. They stated they sanded it, but they didn't. The paint is coming off that was put on it, and you can see the paint that is underneath it. So, they never sanded it. They put a generator on my front porch, and I have a little front porch. Its not that big. They set it there to power the sprayer to spray the house. Well the generator leaked oil all over my concrete, and I wasn't aware of it. It wasn't in my vision. My kids came and asked me what was all over the front porch. I said nothing, and they said it was big oil spots all over. Oil sprayed all over the house, and on the concrete. They never told me. I still have it on there. They never returned my call. They set a date for me, and waited and wait. No one showed up. They said it got erased on their phone. They failed to contact me, and returned my calls about what was happening to my deck. When they finally come, he said somebody tagged it. We are in a new subdivision, on the golf course. I live on Club House Drive,and the golf course is in my back yard. He tried to say someone tagged us on the front porch with round circles of paint cans. I said really.

The entire team was fabulous!! They were professional, on time, kept me informed at all times of the progress and schedule, and certainly went above and beyond in all aspects of the project! A+

I hired Vivax last summer to paint the exterior of my house and a wonderful experience with them. I recently had a radon mitigation system installed in my basement, and there is now a 2-story pipe running up the side of my house. When I contacted Vivax to get a quote for painting the pipe so that it matched the house, Ian told me it was covered under my warranty! I was flabbergasted, to say the least. Ian had a crew come out and paint the pipe, and I was charged nothing! Just wanted to share this story for any of you thinking about hiring Vivax and if their warranty is real. Yes, it is!

They were very efficient and the gentlemen who came to do the estimate found items that others had missed. I'm happy with their work, and would recommend them.

We had Vivax Pros do both our exterior painting and roof in the past few months, and experience has been terrific. They're professional, organized, reliable and transparent when it comes to communication. Not only did they do a great job on both the painting and roofing, but compared to other contractors we've had to deal with the past year, they are on time, courteous, clean, efficient and complete. They are well-run by project managers (Justin was our PM for the roofing; Ryne for the painting) who stay in touch with us, remind us when they're coming, text photos during the work, and touch base after the job is done. The followup and communications are refreshing. Best of all, they describe themselves as a customer service company first, and a painting/roofing etc company second. We agree wholeheartedly and would recommend Vivax to anyone. Seriously.

Vivax Pros just painted our house and it looks great. They were affordable and were able to get it done within the time frame we needed it. Our project manager Mike also did a great job keeping us informed on the status of the house.

I would highly recommend them. They also did our paint last summer. Very professional and they make sure you are completely satisfied. Warranty is also a plus.

They were fine, they were great. They sent someone ahead of time to consult with us, he was an project manager. They do follow ups. How to check your paint samples, what to do to be prepared. They had a painting crew. They were efficient.

Great communication, work was done well and in a timely manner. The team was very helpful and awesome about answering my numerous questions.

I would hire Vivax Pros again in a heartbeat. I have had some unfortunate experiences lately with contractors but Vivax was wonderful to work with. The quality of the paint job was fabulouss. I've not had an incident that I have needed to make use of the guarantee but have no doubt they will be true to their word.
