Vivax Pro Painting

Vivax painted my home in the Hunters Glenn neighborhood this week and I am very satisfied with their work from start to finish. Communication with Vivax and their team throughout the process was excellent. Robbie, who bid the job last fall, Lucas who followed up with the scheduling a few weeks ago and Randy who oversaw the job and kept me informed as the job progressed were all great to work with. I can't speak highly enough for their professionalism. I'm also extremely pleased with the painting crew, Mynor (foreman) and Rafa (his helper). They did a terrific job on the house and left no mess behind. Mynor and Rafa are both hardworking and very competent painters. I would definitely recommend Vivax.

I was very impressed with the Vivax team and the entire process for getting my house painted. I was very appreciative of the attention to detail in the prep work. The team went over the entire house top to bottom and caulked each nail head and around all windows. I also had some wood and siding replaced that had left larger than acceptable gaps. The team on site worked incredibly hard and put in some long hours. They even worked Saturday and Sunday in anticipation of a snow storm coming through. During the final walk through I used my drone to fly around and take a good look in some hard to reach places and I could see very well they did not take shortcuts. In fact, during that inspection I didn't have anything to say - the Vivax PM actually brought up a few very small details that I thought were nothing but he was on top of it and made sure they were addressed right then. I can say without a doubt I was very pleased with everything, from the initial quote, through all of the work that was performed and all the way through with the communication from the PM on site. I would highly recommend!

Brian was easy to work with and the crew did a great job. I enjoyed talking to them and they showed a lot of care painting our house. They were on time and got the project done as promised. We hired Vivax as some friends recommended you and we have passed it on to several friends.

My review of Vivax is that they are completely unskilled and irresponsible MORONS! They did a complete repaint of my home, screwed it up so egregiously that they gave me a FULL refund and committed to "make it right" the following year. I NEVER heard from them again!!! Want a company that will refund your payment? Call Vivax. Want a job DONE RIGHT? LOOK Elsewhere.

Vivax really came thru! Lindsay gave quote n Tim arrived to address window trim n boards needing replaced. Omega arrived next day. Some issues w one window needed so John arrived on finish day n voila! Perfect! Highly recommend waiting for Coleman n crew of Ramone for painting. SUPER DUPER clean, friendly n having this A+++ crew return to paint my fence in Sept!

Project Manager Drew and Wancy and his crew were courteous, professional and did a great job. Amazingly, they completed the work in one day and within the promised time frame despite some weather issues. Communications with me were good and thorough from start to finish - from quote to final walk through. The quote was fair and reasonable and they stuck to it, no attempts to push or demand any addons. Overall, a very positive experience with Vivax.

Exterior paint job went flawlessly. The painter (Leo) was very professional and did very good work. He did everything that Vivax said would be done. I would certainly consider Vivax for my interior paint job in the future.

Extremely happy with our paint result. Jose and his son were very professional and gave a lot of attention to the details. All trim gaps were sealed, loose siding was secured, everything was well masked to give clean edges between the trim and the field colors. Vivax has good communication before, during and after the project.

The company has many expertise levels. Sales comes to do quotes. Project manager in the office co-ordinates many jobs. Painting manager in the field. Painters. Woodworking manager in the field. Carpenters. It was nice having the ability to call more than just one person if the field manager was unable to take my call.

You can tell more about a company on how they handle a problem than when everything goes smoothly. A mistake was made and rather than backpedaling, they sent a new crew and repainted the whole house again. Their warranty really does mean something.

Having an older home, we needed to find and use a lead-paint-certified business. We checked out some addresses they show on their website as being their work and were quite impressed by the crisp lines and quality work. One thing to be aware of is that they do not have their own painting crews and, instead, subcontract the work. They do oversee it with their own project managers, but the quality of the work itself necessarily varies. Another thing to be aware of is that it seems not all of their subcontractors are lead-paint certified workers. Being our first go-around, we did not know what to expect, but the fact that their solution to lead paint was to not even wash the stucco and then to leave the paint scrapings from the wood surfaces on the ground got us our lead-paint premium taken off the invoice. We did not experience the crisp lines we had seen elsewhere. Masking was minimal and all window painting was free hand and while the painters were quite talented, a crisp, masked line simply cannot be made freehand on a rush job. They also said they would seal all hairline cracks in the stucco. I learned this meant painting over them. When I pointed out open cracks, the PM told the painters to apply more paint in those areas. They did not. All of this is not to say Vivax was not excellent to work with. They are highly professional, very responsive and seem well organized. They also use great paint and the work was done quickly, letting us get back to our lives.

Primarily, a very good job. Our painters really worked hard, but could have used a little more time.. I am 95%+ happy with the job they did.

They broke their contract and would not honor the original agreement!

Scheduling is a problem, the woodwork was not completed, painters bring their small children with them to the job site. Have to hire another company to fix woodwork.

A little over priced, but did a great job on a very timely manner. Very good communication.

Sales lady over exaggerates job process.
