WARNING - DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH UNITED SECURITY SYSTEMS!!!!! THEY ARE A DECEPTIVE COMPANY!! Their contract has a THREE YEAR TERM THAT THE CUSTOMER CANNOT CANCEL WITHOUT PAYING THE FULL AMOUNT DUE! We sold our house and tried to cancel the contract. United sent us an invoice for the full remaining term of the contract, over $900! The contract is written in about a 6 font, so the term is easy to miss! The company was totally unwilling to reduce the amount due under the circumstances. Get your alarm services from someone else - seriously!

We tried to get a commercial estimate but found it very difficult to communicate with them. We left a message for our sales person but she never called us back. I doubt she even received the message.When you call their main number and ask for a specific sales person, the operator/receptionist puts you through the third degree.And then the person you're trying to reach might not even be there!They don't seem like they want to do business.

My experience with United Security Systems has always been great. I have used their services for over 10 years. Ben did an excellent job of trouble shooting the problems - he got everything fixed no problem. He arrived within the given time frame and called before he came (Love that!). He was careful and respectful of my house - i.e. carrying ladders, cleaning up. He was also great with my dog which is an extra bonus. Jill called the next day to confirm the system was working properly. All in all it was great. Everyone is always friendly and helpful.

Everything was easy. All the people, both on phone and service people, were very friendly and very professional. The system is so easy to use but you can call anytime with questions. We never imagined this whole process would go so smoothly. I also received a phone call from United Securities reminding me to notify our homeowners insurance company as we are eligible for a credit for having an alarm and smoke detector with the alarm. This company is an A+!

I love these guys. We had ADT and wanted to upgrade to video and smart phone monitoring. I kept calling ADT about their pulse system and no one called me back. One of my co-workers recommended United. They called me back right away and made an appointment to see my existing system. They were able to use most of it and reprogramed it to their network adding video cameras, programable touch pads, screens with alarm sensors and the ability to monitor the system online. It took the tech one day to update the system and add all the features. He was prompt, professional and totally easy to work with considering he was here all day. He worked around my dogs. The system is very easy to use, I like that I can easily give codes to people (cleaning lady, dog walker etc..) and see who is here when. The video cameras took a bit to set up but they are a great feature I can tell when people enter the home or the backyard from alerts to my email. We had one issue that we caused we tripped a breaker and could not find the GFI, they came out the day we called showed us where it was and left without charging us. I also love that they are local. They cost about the same as the basic ADT service and we get a much better service and more bells/whistles.
