Good work for a good price.

Great work!!

Joe came out to look at the job and provide me with a quote. I received an informal quote via email and responded back that I was still waiting on some more quotes from other contractors. Joe ended up having the best price and I wanted to hire him to perform the work. I emailed him back looking for a formal quote and contract. I did not receive any response and followed though with a phone call 4 days later. He claimed he emailed me the contract, but said he would do so again and that he could start the job in about a week. I never received any email or heard from him again and hired a different contractor.

We needed t exture sprayed on one full wall and on a ceiling for a living room and dining room that had been scraped to remove a popcorn ceiling texture. Joe sprayed an orange peel texture to match the other walls in these rooms and did a beautiful job. Regardless if your a handy guy and just need textured sprayed or if you need a complete drywall job done from scratch, Joe's the man.

We were looking for months for a drywall person to come and tackle our home. There was not a drywall person out there that didn't want to charge us an arm and a leg and wanting to take weeks to do just the drywall. We came across Joe and he is wonderful! Not only did he know what he was doing but he completed the drywall and painting within 1 1/2 weeks! I have never seen someone work as hard as Joe 8 hours a day! He even went above and beyond fixing things that we didn't even point out and giving us suggestions of other ideas in our home. He is honest, punctual, priced fair and overall a very professional person. We are so pleased with the work Joe did in our home that we will definitely have him back for further projects like our basement.

Joe is great. Came the same day I called. Took a good estimate of required repairs. Prompt and detailed estimate. Although he hasn't done any work for us yet I'm sure it will be good, based on his customer service and professionalism. Highly recommend.

Joe was quick to return my calls and showed up when said he would. He answered all of my question. Joe was even able to give me a bid over the phone with approximate size of room and pictures. I had called several drywall companies and Joe was definitely the most reasonable. I am super picky about quality and Joe did NOT disappoint. He did a fantastic job!!! He taped everything off prior to spraying and took everything done when he was done. The new wall that he textured blends seamlessly with the existing wall. If you need drywall work I would not hesitate to call Joe. I already have another drywall project lined up for him.

Joe had the unfortunate task of cleaning up after a homeowner who finished his own basement rather inaptly and another contractor who "thought" he could remedy the situation. When Joe was done, the room showed no signs of the conversion, and was transformed into a wonderful space for guests. Since this is the room I often inhabit at my daughter's, I am delighted! Unlike many contractors, Joe reports for work promptly at 8 AM each morning, works a full day, is very respectful of your home, leaves a clean workspace every day, and most of all, does beautiful work!

Joe's work is beautiful. Everyone who has seen the change comments on how natural the doorway looks since Joe maintained the arch, to save the architectural details that added charm. Joe is so professional, while prompt, courteous, and hard working, he also worked to be invisible so my baby granddaughter would not be frightened (she was at that age with strangers!).

Joe did a good job at a good price. We were very pleased. He was conscientious, prompt, and professional. Would definitely hire again.

Since Joe had already done work at my daughter's house, I ?knew the quality of his work and his strong work ethic. As usual he was prompt, kept me informed of his work schedule, and worked to do a quality job with minimal mess. The result was a doorway that maintained the arched look on the bedroom side, and looked like it had always been there.

Joe was courteous, prompt and came over the same day I contacted him. He was professional and thorough during his estimate.

Joe started off doing a good job regarding the drywall work. To me, that part of the job was done very well. In my opinion problems started when it came to the painting part of the job. Joe did not prepare very well before painting, inside or outside. Inside, he did a poor job of caulking where needed before painting. Also, he missed a lot of spots on walls that had to be addressed a second time. I had to go around and put up blue tape throughout the house to remind him that this area had to be readdressed. Some of the spots did not improve because he did a poor job of reparing holes and bad spots with spalking. Regarding the outside painting, poor preparation was again at hand. The house was not power-washed at all, not even rinsed to remove some of the dirt that accumulatied over the years. Any caulking was at a minimum, or at my request. An example of a poor job was a downspot that had old paint that had obviously peel and was sticking up. Instead of scrapping the bad paint away, he painted over the bad spot. I had to request that he fix the problem. He also applied a very thin layer of paint. Joe did a pretty good job of reparing tile and working on tile in a downstairs shower. The only problem was that he did not finished the job. I had to have another person to come in and finish the job by chipping away some of the tile to make it fit the drain hole, then replace the drain cap. Joe refused to finish this job. I believe that Joe has the ability to do a good job, but he does not seem to pay attention to details. A lot of things I pointed out to him was obvious and I believe he should have seen them and corrected them without me having to say anything.+.

It was a good experience. He got back with us in plenty of time.

I had several contractors look at my project. Several never did call me back.. Handy man of Colorado Springs took a long time to give me an estimate and it was 2 1/2 times more than the three bids I received.

I hired Joe to finish sheetrock smoothing and texturing. He did a fantastic job with that, and was so fast, I had several other guys having to hurry up to move their tools and finish hanging drywall in a few small spaces, like closets, to avoid slowing joe down. I needed some tile work done as well, and he mentioned that he was good at that as well. I was skeptical, as most tile guys I meet grossly overstate either their ability or their willingness to do good quality work. But I went ahead and had him do the tile, and he really IS good as it -- very conscientious. I've even had him painting and installing trim when we needed another hand, and he knows what he is doing there as well -- Joe even taught me and my crew a new method for spraying paint onto doors that can be done in a much smaller work area, allows you to paint many more doors in a day than you could using my old method (that I was pretty proud of until I saw Joe's), and his method provides excellent results -- better than mine, I must admit. He is a good painter as well. If you've hired very many painters, then you know what a find this is -- usually is is hard to find one who will turn up to work on time and not in a mentally altered state, much less show up every day, on time, with a good attitude, ready to get the job done. He is number one on my list of painters too.

Joe's wife Linda cleaned my summer house for upcoming renters, and did an excellent job! It is a very old house with unique cleaning challenges, but she conquered all of them: plaster dust from ancient crumbling plaster, to giant cobwebs in the corners of the 12' ceilings .

It was for about 2/3rds of the house. She took a really long time because she was doing a deep clean. We asked her not to and we told her we did not want some one hanging around our house all day. She said that light house keeping was not in her nature. That is what we wanted and she could not provide that. Her effort was really good, but her understanding of what we wanted was not good. The price was good.

Joe did a great job for us, and even found additional projects that needed to be done! Professional, dependable, and punctual; hope to hire again.

Stated = 1 job of replastering and painting. He was very detailed cleaned up; doesn't bother anyone - always on time - very professional, we now use him in the spring and fall for about 4 weeks each time - (we have an OLD 1878 house on the water and was so pleased with his variety of skills, price, work ethic that I use him for as many repairs as possible - we used to have a painter come every year BUT Joe has replaced him because his skills are more versatile - the home he works on is in Bar Harbor ME 04609 not the Florida address - would highly recommend him.

Int the Winter of 2010, I called upon Joe to help repair & paint the plaster walls in the two stairwells. I was extremely impressed at the swiftness and finesse Joe used to mud and patch. He hardly ever needed to sand!
