Showed up on time and did the job well.

The men who did the work were just fine. I have no problem with the tree removal performed. I had a problem with the sales person. He indicated that some of my trees are ash trees and needed 2 treatments to protect them from a beetle that can attack them. The way it was explained to my son who then explained it to me was that 2 treatments total were needed. Those treatments occurred, and then I found an invoice on my door for another treatment. When I called to let them know the third treatment was in error, the gal I spoke with indicated she would have the salesman call. He called, spoke first with my son, now saying the treatments were ongoing as in 2 treatments per year. This I would not have approved. When he spoke with me, he was unwilling to make a reasonable concession to the price for the treatment made without my permission and blamed my son for "misrepresenting himself." I am paying the full amount for the contested treatment. I cancelled any further treatments and, because of the sales man, will never hire this company again.

Paul came over and gave an estimate, very professional. Scheduled the removal two weeks out. Foreman called morning of to give a time window, which they arrived in. Guys were very friendly and got the job done fairly quickly. Pretty painless!

I used them because there was a coupon. They tried to save a sick tree, but ended up having to take it down. They did a valiant effort to try to save it. They were very honest and told me we can try this as a last ditch effort. They were very professional. They came back and took the tree out near the fence so I asked them to leave the stump to avoid removing the fences. They were very very honest. One of the best. I would use them again. They have arborist that know what they are talking about. They were very reasonable, honest and truthful.

They did some work this Fall on two trees that I had; then they did the work this January on a tree that could not be pruned until January because of the nature of the tree, so they've been here twice. If you prune Crabapple trees before they're actually frozen and hardened, they get a disease. Who knew that? But they told me that. The arborist who came out to evaluate the trees was excellent, the people that came out to trim the trees were also excellent, and they knew what they were doing. I believe they had - I don't know for a fact because I wasn't there when they came out to prune the trees - but I believe an arborist was there to supervise the pruning of the trees. But they did an amazing job of pruning the trees, so I would highly recommend them to anybody. The price was good, the work was good. My Crabapple tree definitely needed to be thinned out because I had not done anything. This last year in 2016, we had that late Spring storm where it broke a big branch off on one side, it broke a big branch off on the other side, the tree was lopsided, and it definitely needed to be pruned because you can't leave those kind of jagged branches. And they really trimmed up the tree beautifully. Every day I look at it, I say to myself, hmmm ... actually I called them back to tell the guy, you did a really good job on this, I'm very impressed. I would definitely use and recommend Tree Pros again. The arborist knows what he's doing and the people that trim the trees, which I have to think are being supervised by an arborist but I can't say for sure, but they definitely know what they're doing when they are pruning different trees. I had them prune a Maple, I had them prune a Rain tree, I had them prune a Crabapple; three very different trees and they pruned all of them expertly. I have no complaints about the work they did. The price was reasonable and they were very professional. I had used them before. I actually had them take down a tree in my yard that was dead. They tried to help me save it; they did the best that they could possibly do. We just didn't realize it was as sick as it was. When we realized it was doing poorly, it was almost too late to try and save it, but they did their valiant effort to try and save it. They were very honest with me, we can try this, it will be a last ditch effort, if this doesn't work your tree's going to die. I said okay. The tree died. They were very professional, they came out and took down the tree. Because it was by a fence line, I didn't want them to totally remove the tree. I had the stump cut off at my kneecap and every Summer I put a flowering pot on top of the tree stump. It's fine. To take down a tree that grows next to a fence line, you're talking about taking down your neighbor's fence, you're talking about a big issue, and then you're talking about big money because your neighbors may not be willing to say, well, I'll help you replace the fence or whatever; so it was kind of like, you know what? I just need the tree down; it doesn't put up suckers, it doesn't do anything - there's just a stump. Cut it to my kneecap and I can put a flowering pot of Geraniums on it in the Summer and it looks fine. And I use it as an esthetic feature of my garden. They are very, very honest, one of the best. I will use them again. They're reasonably priced, they're honest, and they have arborists that know what they're talking about. I've dealt with other companies where they come out and they say they have an arborist but it's not really true. You need to have somebody that's educated in trees and knows what the tree needs. Other people would have said to me, we can prune your Crabapple tree in the Fall, but if you would, it would have gotten rust, which would have killed the tree. This guy said to me, you can't prune it until ... the months you can prune this tree are January and February. They did a beautiful job. I look at that tree every day and I was like ... sometimes you watch people and it's like, well I don't know if I would have cut off that branch. But the branches they cut off, now that I look at the tree, I'm like that so needed to be done. But if you're just watching somebody out there randomly hacking on your tree, you're like holy sh*t you cut off that branch? If I wanted to, I could have gone out there and said to them, wait, wait, why are you cutting off that branch, and there would have been somebody to explain to me, this is why this branch needs to go. So that's the value of what I found with them; they were very, very honest, very reasonable, and very truthful. They were more than willing to explain to me, this is what we're doing to this tree and this is why we're doing what we're doing to this tree. And as I look at the tree today, I'm like yeah well, you know what, I pretty much think that probably really needed to be done, but I'm not an arborist. Well, it's my choice and I want the tree to be healthy. To be honest with you, if I would have known what I know today, back 38 years ago when I planted the Crabapple tree in my front yard, I never would have planted it, for multiple reasons, because the tree really annoys me. But the arborist who came out here, he sat there and he said to me, I have one of those - they're really pretty trees - you shouldn't hate it - it has its virtues. And he was very kind in explaining to me why you shouldn't hate this tree, and I was kind of like, well I hate this tree for these reasons. And he goes, well yeah, but you know, all trees have issues. They're just very knowledgeable people. It's like what am I going to do - rip the tree out of my yard after it's been there for 35 years? That would have ripped up my entire yard. Just learn to love your trees. You gotta love the little boogers, and sometimes, depending, you love or you hate them. But you hire an arborist that tells you that you need to learn to love it, and you learn to love it again and like I said, they did a beautiful job. You know like he said to me - I have one in my own yard because when it blooms, it's a beautiful tree. And I even said to him well it's been here 30-plus years and in all those years, because of the weather, it's only really been beautiful maybe ten of those years. And he goes, yeah, but when it's beautiful, isn't it beautiful? And I'm like, yeah, yeah, yeah, you're right - okay you're right. So love your trees. They're a very good company; they're very honest, they're very professional. I've had many tree people out here over the years I've had my trees, and I think they're very reasonably priced. And if you're not happy, they will come back out. They respond immediately to any concerns you have. The guy that - I don't know if he's the owner, I don't know who he is, I don't know if he's the main arborist - but any complaint you have, he will respond to you within 24 hours. I will definitely use them again.

This is the 4th tree service I've hired in the past 10 years, and the first one I'll gladly invite back. Mike consulted, wrote the estimate, and (important to me) kept the appointment. He gave me the estimate a la carte, which helped me stay within my fixed income's resources. Paul & Matt were the team that did the actual service, and they were outstanding. My oak tree overhangs the street and sidewalk, and it was brought to city code with judicious pruning to maintain its shape. I'm very fussy about my dwarf cherry trees, and they spent time with me to make sure they were bringing them to the height I wanted while eliminating all the vertical interior sprouts and a couple of annoyingly low limbs. The two shrubs between those trees were sheared to size and shape I wanted, as were 2 large burning bush shrubs near the street. The most worrisome project was getting my badly overgrown junipers under control without damaging their beauty by leaving gaping holes or exposing browned-off limbs. While I couldn't get them cut to a size I considered ideal, they were cut to the minimum to preserve their beauty. The property was cleaned up with rake and blower and the limbs and trimmings were hauled away. The bonus was my wedding ring, which was lost in early December. It turned up in the middle of one the junipers, evidently having come off while stringing Christmas lights. It was of great sentimental value and was returned promptly. Thank you, Paul and Matt!

They did an excellent job of pruning all of the trees. I was grateful that they explained to me that the crab apple tree could not be pruned at the same time as the other trees. They did they work cleaned up and the trees look much better as they really needed a good pruning. The arborist knew what needed to be done to maintain the health and growth of the trees.

Mike provided an estimate. Told him that I needed to confirm with my husband. He left me a message telling me when they had their next opening. We ended up deciding to do it ourselves. Mike called to scold me about how I agreed to his service and continued to argue with me. He NEVER confirmed the date with me. He then told me that "they are a small company and that's just mean" and hung up on me. I am also a small-business owner and so would: a. confirm with a client/customer before sending a team to do work b: never accuse a customer/client of lying and then hang up on them. The guys who showed up were quite gracious and suggested that I'm not the first person Mike has offended. If they want to maintain a good reputation, they need to get rid of Mike. He's rude, presumptuous and unprofessional.

The crew that did the work were wonderful! I first wanted recommendations on trees to put in, and they gave me a list of great options. Once I decided on the trees, they looked around to find good, healthy options and kept me in contact when they couldn't find size they originally quoted. The guys came in this morning and did a great job removing the aspens and replanting the new ones with special care of clean up (seriously, I'm impressed at the minimal mess left behind given the clay-like dirt here), watering the new trees, and having a fun chat with me while finishing up. I'm so excited by these new trees, and thank you to Tree Pros Inc for the quality work!

We had a dying apricot tree that needed to go, as well as several other trees that were sick or overgrown. Tree pros did everything they could for the sick trees and cleaned up the others. They came more than once and a couple of times there were some miscommunications on timing, but it was all worked out in the end. I'd definitely work with them again.

Very busy time of year for these guys and the owner, Paul, made an opening for us to get this huge job done as we were under time restraints, two weeks earlier than expected and did a great job! Quote was also very reasonable, that's how they got the job. Don't get ripped off by the other companies. Under-promised and over-delivered - Thanks Tree Pros!
