They did a nice job on getting my swamp cooler ready for summer. In terms of value for money, however, I want to state that I was NOT told that they don't change the cooler pads ahead of time. When I called in earlier in the day to see if I needed to have anything ready, the person on the phone did NOT tell me they don't change the pads-- note, they will do it, but it at an extra cost that to me is too expensive- I was quoted $300.00 which is too much for a simple pad change. Obviously they think everyone changes their pads, and IF I HAD KNOWN they did not do it, I would have done it. So that's a strike against their people on the phone who did not tell me this in advance. Also their is an extra charge for them to come to their home, Which they did NOT tell me about until I was about to book my appointment, so that was not a nice surprise. However, I will point out they waived it for me as it was my first time having them come out and the person on the phone heard my displeasure at an extra charge. But the customer service from Nick, my service pro, was excellent and the work was well done. He even changed out a heater air filter for me while he was at my house. They just need to communicate better on the phone and make sure customers know all the charges that are to be billed!

Service Professional did great work, but the pricing isn't clear until the end of the project, they tell you one price.. and charge you another. Fair pricing but still needs to be clear before project is in progress.

Are repairman Chris was outstanding first off he showed up at our door with boot protectors on his feet he was polite very courteous lay down mats as not to damage our floors canvas in the bathrooms you didn't even know he was there except for the work that he was done outstanding highly recommend them with no objections whatsoever

This was my first experience with Home Advisor and it was a resounding success. From the moment I clicked yes, have the contact me, the phone rang, on a Sunday. We set up the appointment for the next day. I am doing renovations on a house that is going on the market and we had some mysterious electrical problems that we were not able to isolate. Judd came out and walked through the house and what we were having issues with, then he went to the panel. This is a 37 year old with a very over loaded panel, as over the years more and more lines were added without upgrading the service. There was also no visible grounding system. Oh and then what we found behind the stove! Someone had hacked into the 220 V line to power a couple of bedrooms and there were bare wires with the ability to touch the stove. This meant there were outlets and switches in the house that should have been on a 15 or 20 amp circuit, but were on a 50 Amp circuit. This means that if one of those outlets shorted out, it would never have tripped the breaker, so wires would melt and possibly catch fire instead of having the panel do it's job protecting the house circuits. So, I had them upgrade the service from 150 Amp panel to 200 Amp panel and install proper grounding rods. They also sorted out the 220V line and ran a new dedicated line for the other 120 V circuit. Daniel was the electrician that did the work and he solved all of the mysteries with the other electrical as well. They arranged for the building inspection and he was out the day after the work was completed and everything passed. One more thing: While they were there, I showed them a duct where the elbow had broken in half coming off the furnace that I thought was a supply line going to the bed rooms as it was blowing hot air into the furnace room. NO... they told me that was the exhaust duct and it was blowing carbon monoxide into the house. Great. They shut the furnace down at the panel and I called Phillip at Tipping Hat and said I needed that fixed a.s.a.p. He had the HVAC guys (Kevin and Nick) out that day and they came up to Conifer at 5pm for me. They replaced the entire exhaust duct as it had basically disintegrated over time and even changed out the filter. :) Now the house is safe and secure. I feel confident and comfortable in selling a home that is safe and sound, thanks to Tipping Hat. I never would have found them without Home Advisor. I am so glad that I did. Since they are a full service company, I will not hesitate to call on any future projects. And I can wholeheartedly agree with how Phillip answers the phone at Tipping Hat "I can help you". Yes he can.

The Tipping Hat Electrical team has set the bar. The immediate inquiry into the work that I needed to be done was within 2 minutes after I used Home Advisor, fast scheduling next day for a job scope, and immediate scheduling for the work to be performed. What impressed me was there knowledge and how the job was described for execution with enthusiasm. The Tipping Hat Team was in constant communication up to and after the job with courtesy 30 minute calls before they were due to arrive at the job site. I was impressed by their work ethic, customer service, most of all the quality of workmanship, that I have requested a quote for some HVAC work, they do more than just electrical. The head electrician Justin and TJ was the team that worked on my home, adding electrical to a new bed room, bathroom, and utility room. I have already started recommending Tipping Hat Electrical to friends and family, they’re a company that you can trust with your home. Also, the price for the work was very fair and they respect the interior of your home down to shoe covers.
