It was time to remodel our 25-year old bathroom. We saw a high-end home in the Summit County Parade of Homes that had a beautiful bathroom that was covered floor to ceiling in honey onyx with a honey onyx vanity top. The vanity had lights below to show off the fabulous stone. That was the look we were after. Denver Marble helped us with the stone design and lighting options. They coordinated the purchase of the light panel, which came from Canada, and the cutting of the onyx slab. Rise, salesrep at Denver Marble, was terrific to work with. Once we found the slab we wanted, she helped us decide what part of the slab would best show off the stone. The LED backlight panel cost about $700 plus $300 for shipping, expensive but outstanding. It was critical to have the stone and light panel patch exactly as there were no second chances with this design. The mitered edge give the stone a wonderful finish. Rise kept us informed during the process and we are thrilled with the final installation. Denver Marble was competitively priced and provided excellent customer service. I will definitely use them for future jobs.

We ended up using someone different. They were okay, but they were a little difficult at the time to come out and take a look at it. There was a lot of calling back and forth, but we did consider them.
Description of Work: I got a quote from The Denver Marble Co. to replace our countertops.

We were EXTREMELY pleased in all our dealings with Denver Marble. We had found a slab of granite we wanted to use for our new bathroom counters. Scott at Denver Marble gave us accurate estimates and made good suggestions about some of the details of the design such as edge treatments and sink placements. They arranged to pick up the stone from the slab yard, then cut, finished and installed the countertops. The work was done on time and the installation was first-rate, especially considering that the variety of stone we used was very delicate and would have been easy to break. We were so pleased with their work that we asked them to fabricate a third countertop from some of the leftover stone. They did this quickly and inexpensively, and even located and supplied the sink to go with it. They arranged to deliver the last of our leftover stone to us for use in a future project some day. When we come up with a use for this stone, Denver Marble will be the fabricator we call to do the work. Denver Marble has been in business in Denver for over 100 years, and they do a great deal of commercial work in addition to their residential business. We were concerned that they might be too expensive for us, but it turned out that their price actually came in below several other fabricators that we considered. The overall job was expensive, but this was because we had selected one of the more expensive grades of stone available. Denver Marble's charges for cutting, finishing and installing were quite reasonable.

They were awesome to work with and they did a great job. Their scheduling was great. We enjoyed working with them. The quality of the granite was very good. They are coming back to do more work in about 1 1/2 months.

It was important that the cut be clean so that the portion of the countertop that remained stayed intact. This was in preparation for the installation of a regular type of window. The location of this extension was not easy--behind an existing kitchen sink and faucet. The men worked efficiently--one cutting while the other used a vacuum to prevent dust from pervading the entire kitchen. In the end, there was very little residue to clean up. The entire job took less than an hour and the window was subsequently installed flawlessly.
Description of Work: Denver Marble sent two workers to our home to cut off a portion of a continuous piece of granite countertop that extended beyond our house into a garden window.

The whole process went very well. I took the piece in to Denver Marble on Friday March 12th and Matt called me on Tuesday March 16 to tell me it was done. They cleaned it and brought it to a beautiful satiny finish. It is just so pretty, I can hardly wait to get the table back so I will be able to see the whole picture. Matt is SO NICE and very knowledgable about marble. He gave me some historic background on the type of marble I have and how very old it is.
Description of Work: I inherited a very old piece of marble. It is actually the top of an antique table. For the past 20 ro 25 years it has had a really tough life! Because I was having the table restored it was necessary to have the marble cleaned, etc. So, I called Matt at Denver marble, he was also recommended by the man doing the table restoration in addition to my finding Denver Marble on Angie's List.

Outstanding. Matt has an unusually high degree of patience with clients. During the granite selection process, he bent over backwards to accommodate our needs. We took an exceptionally long amount of time to make a decision on the pieces of granite that we wanted. Matt gave us an exceptional deal during a very slow period. We received 1.25 slabs for the kitchen. For the sinks and vanities, we had to select from one of the exceptional pieces of scrap granite on their backyard.
Description of Work: Granite counter tops in kitchen, and all three bathrooms.
