They were punctual, comprehensive and reasonably priced. I didn't shop around for price.

I needed two older trees in front of my housed trimmed. I suspected they needed to be cut down due to a few holes in some of the limbs and I expressed this to the sales guy. He looked at the tree and said he didn't think they need to come down but said they would have an experienced aborist trim them and call me if they did need to come down. I didn't want trees trimmed that needed to come down anyways. I was out of town the day they trimmed them and never heard anything. I came home to trimmed trees that looked very good. About 2 weeks later I get the bill with a letter from the head pruner. He recommend that both trees needed to be cut down based on the same observations I expressed to the sales guy. I left him a voice mail and a week later tried sending them an email with no response back. Overall I have been very frustrated with them having spent a lot of money trimming trees that need be cut down anyways. When I do have the trees removed this fall I will be certainly be going with another company.

They are a national chain and have a contract with them for tree service. We have been working with them for the last couple of years. They are easy to get hold of and respond quickly to their needs. I will use them again in the future.

They came very promptly to evaluate the situation and give us their bid, which wasn't much higher than the bid we accepted. Davey's estimator didn't seem quite as knowledgeable as the estimator from the company we did hire.

I liked how prompt, professional, and friendly they were.

They are very good about some things and not so good about others, but mostly they are very good. They are a little costly. The billing depends on the service that they are providing. They do deep root fertilization and stuff which is a little more expensive. The pine trees are 75 feet tall and so they need care, and that gets a little pricey. Their prices are probably the same as what most people charge but I have never really shopped around. I have probably had them for about 30 years. I have gotten to know a lot of the people and they know me when they come to the house. They are very professional. They are very punctual and call me before they come as I have requested that. I have always used them and never used anybody else.

They’ve been quite good. Several of our neighbors use this company as well. Davey has a great reputation, and it’s well deserved. I would certainly recommend them to others.

I've been using Davey Tree for several years mostly for tree planting & care. I have never been disappointed with their work or professionalism! I recommend this company to anyone with "tree" issues. Andy Ferguson, certified arborist, continues to provide exceptional advice on tree choices in my yard. He's an expert diagnostician of bugs, worms & fungi which damage my trees.

They are close to me. They have been in service for a long time. It sounded like they actually had someone who was a real arborist. They came when they said they would and did a good job. I thought their price was extremely reasonable. We are not really sure if it was bugs or not. They told us frankly that they weren't sure what the problem was but that they could suggest a couple of possible treatments. They let me choose the treatment that I felt most comfortable with. I don't know if the problem can be corrected, but at least we fed the trees so they have a fighting chance.

They do a great job. It?s a nice group. They do what you want them to do but they are expensive. The trees look beautiful. I had updated some swindles and it cost me $730. He did it for $830 for my son. That was because he had experience with my son?s house. They had guaranteed that they would get it done before the month of November. That way I could get a 10% discount which is not true if you have an apple tree. You can do it for cheaper amount but other businesses are not in service for a long time as the Davey?s. It?s a very nice team that speaks in English.

They are prompt and have always done a good job. They are responsive and punctual as well. The quality of their work is very good and I have been satisfied with their service.

They are great. This is our third year with them. They are a little expensive, but well worth it.

They trimmed a cistena plum bush and killed it. I keep trying to call them and he called back this morning and said he has been trying to call us all week. He said he did not have to do anything for us. They trimmed the tree but not as much as they should have. They tried to tell me that the tree had grown two and half feet in two months. It was suppose to be nice and round but its bigger on one side than the other.

The stumps had grown into the old chain link fence which had to be removed first before the stumps could be removed and the new fence built. The stumps could not be ground down due to the embedded chain link fence parts so Davey brought in a Bobcat to pull the stumps out. They were very careful about minimizing damage to the yard and garden due to the weight and use of the Bobcat. They coordinated the work with the fence company. He even saved one of our plants by digging it up and transplanting it for us.

GREAT. I had a minor problem with not hearing back on exactly when the crew would be there (I wanted to be there too), but when I called them, the operators were very helpful. They gave me a specific and small window of time to expect the crew, which I appreciated (e.g., between 12 and 2 pm, NOT between 8 am and 5 pm). The crew showed up on time (even though it had started snowing and I thought they might cancel); they were very polite and professional; and most important, they did a FANTASTIC job on my trees! They pruned the trees to the degree I wanted, without me having to say anything. They did a great cleanup. I am very happy with my trees and highly recommend this company.

Daniel Nilles, an arborist for Davey, showed up on time for the estimate. He took his time and answered all of my questions. He spent double the time answering my questions than the other 2 companies that also gave me estimates. We scheduled a work date, only about a week or so out, and a crew of three showed up on time to do the pruning. They went right to work and were careful working around our trampoline, which was between the 2 trees in the back yard. They cleaned up nicely.

Davey Tree and Lawn Care were very careful in the removal of my Juniper bushes. They were in a difficult spot next to a retaining wall, but everything went fine. I've used their services for years. I don't remember what the price was for this time, but whatever it was, it was worth it.

I am so impressed with the quality of the work. The men were friendly and courteous. They consulted me at key junctures to make sure they were doing what I wanted. The cleanup was thorough, and they left my yard in pristine condition.

The person that did the work did show up on time and finished in about 30 minutes. He was very easy to get in touch with and was very courteous towards me. I was pleased with how fast he was able to locate the problem and fix it.

It seems to be a very busy company but they did get back to me in a reasonable amount of time. Work was very fast and efficient and they did a great job.

Chris (and helper) were professional, knowledgeable, informative, and expeditious. Chris gave me info re: trees without asking; and he did exactly what I needed and then more without extra charge. A dream come true.
