Bottom line: DO NOT USE. The long of it: I'm not a person to write a negative review but I feel like the service I received was so horrendous that others should know that this Groupon is not worth their money. A Groupon with limited reviews (only 17) but a 4-star rating...I realize that it is a gamble and for my situation, I was willing to take it. I bought the deal to have my one bed/one bath apartment cleaned before the final walk-thru so as not to be charged by the apartment complex. I had completely moved out and there was no furniture. Pretty straight forward and easy enough in a 2-hour cleaning session. Upon scheduling the appointment, I specifically asked the owner, Crystal, if the refrigerator, oven, and cabinets were included, because I know that they are often extra. She assured me that they were included in the Groupon deal and because the small apartment would have no furniture in it, the cleaning could certainly be done in the two hours. When the young lady arrived to clean the apartment, we briefly discussed some details and that is when I was notified that the fridge and stove would be an additional $25. I mentioned my previous conversation with her boss and the associate called Crystal. Apparently, Crystal said the services would be an additional $25, and I was frustrated because Crystal had previously told me the services were included. So, I called Crystal but was forced to leave a voicemail. The girl who cleaned the apartment continually texted and called Crystal with immediate responses but I am yet to receive a return phone call from Crystal. I was frustrated that Crystal would respond to the associate but not me. When she told me she was finished cleaning an hour and fifteen minutes later, I came in to find sopping wet floors, crumbs along every edge of the apartment, food and grime in the sink, no cabinets vacuumed, as well as a dirty freezer. I understand that there is some water that needs to dry after mopping but puddles all over the entire apartment seemed unacceptable. Opening the pantry to see crumbs and hair, as well as under the sink, along the edges of the room all seemed unacceptable. I pointed these out and received the response of "Yeah, well, I didn't clean there." When I pointed out the sink issues, the girl said that the grime was stained. I took a paper tower and wiped the sink clean to show the associate that it was not a stain. She then responded with "Oh, so you want me to clean that?" I was frustrated. There were a variety of other excuses but I'll spare you the details. I am not overly picky and bought the Groupon thinking this would be a pretty straight-forward job...empty small one bedroom apartment. The cleaning did not have to be perfect because I know the apartment complex will hire their own cleaners, but I wanted to get my money's worth. Even if this service were free, I would not use their service. The Crystal Clear Choice? Don't use this company.
