Sales (Nate), project management (Cody) and upper management were all excellent at listening, planning, communication, issue resolution and follow up. At the beginning of the project our project manager was sick, which could have been a huge issue. Instead multiple other managers stepped up to keep things running smoothly. We felt like there was clear communication, thoughtful responses and a customer centric attitude. Like all projects there were a few minor issues but the attitude of the management was top notch. They listened, corrected and genuinely seemed to care that things were exactly as we wanted them and done right. We would definitely use them again and have already recommended them to a few other friends. Multiple neighbors have stopped by to tell us how great the patio looks and how it enhances the aesthetics of our home and neighborhood.
Description of Work: We had a paver patio installed on the front of our house and paver overlay over existing concrete steps.

I realized after writing this that it is quite long. For those who don't want to read my novel I'd give this summary: Overall it was excellent! Great install with attention to detail. Courteous Service. Responsive to 'issue' correction. A little background: We originally found System Pavers at a home show in Denver several years ago. We received an estimate at that time but decided to wait while we completed other projects around the house. The flood of 2013 had a small impact on our driveway and entryway area. The concrete that was there became undermined and cracked. As we contemplated our options to fix the damage we kept coming back to the System Pavers products. We did some very temporary patches while we considered the best long term options. After much consideration we decided to go with System Pavers. Looking at the finished product now we know we made the right decision. Looks way better than concrete, really adds to the house, and we won't have to worry about any future issues with concrete cracking. We integrated in a side entryway path and front patio area which turned out great. Our initial 're-engagement' went very well. They still had our information on file, and Corey came out that weekend to review the project. He was able to match the previous pricing, and recommended a few improvements. We modified the plans slightly and set things in motion. Corey brought out several samples for us to lay down and view on the driveway. He also offered several options for seeing existing installations and bringing up any other samples we may have wanted. Very nice to work with. This all occurred in fall of 2015. We tentatively set up a Feb '16 install date. Install time came and Troy was our Project Manager. He let us know what to expect and answered any questions. The install crew was a landscaping company that sub-contracted to System Pavers. The crew supervisor and foreman were also great. Hard working, meticulous, and courteous. I worked closely with them and let them know I would be relatively picky about things looking 'perfect', especially the little details around the edges. Those little things can really make a difference in how the project looks. Tear out went surprisingly fast. The crew busted up the concrete and hauled it away in about a day. They also worked with me on using the excess material. Part of the new area was previously covered with recycled asphalt (a popular material in the mountains for driveways). They saved that portion and basically re-did a lower portion of our driveway which needed some attention. We thought that was a nice example of great Customer service. The border required reinforcing in several areas to insure stability - especially along one edge close to a steep slope. The larger blocks and concrete footers in those areas look robust. Time will tell for sure, but the installation looks solid. After the border was installed they noted that they had used larger face stones than called for in the plans. Was to be 6x6, and they used 6x9, That meant that there not enough 6x9s left for the overall pattern in the middle. What to do? Another case of clearly putting the Customer first. I'm not sure I would have even noticed. They were very upfront about it. Offered to redo it with 6x6 stones. We looked it over and felt that the 6x9 stones looked good (probably better to our eye than the originally planned 6x6). So they expedited some replacement stones so the inside pattern could be completed. The patio area near the front door turned out great. They blended the slope so it came up to the door perfectly (just under the sill - more on this later). They also had to meet up with a set of stairs that go to an upper front deck. Of course the patio slope does not match the stair tread slope exactly. We discussed that area extensively. One of those 'details' that can make a project look great, or look weird. They ended up doing a combination of carpentry mods to the first step and cutting stones to fit that looks great. We also had an extension to a side entry garage door. When I looked at that it wasn't 'perfect'. The paver stones ended up even with the top of the door sill instead of being just under the sill. We looked at the front patio/entry door area and I noted that this was how it was supposed to look. There was no push back. They looked at it and immediately said 'you're right, we'll fix it'. Keep in mind this could have required ripping out that side area (including border) to redo it. They were able to re-blend the whole side area to get the stones under the sill and still keep appropriate slopes for drainage. The last minor issue we had them fix was a few approach/drop-off areas. Again it would have been easy for them to say it was 'good enough', but they came back and improved those areas for us. They needed a but more road base to blend a few areas. They came back out the following week with another load of material and finished up around the edges. One last note on surface finish. A few days after the install was finished we had a little moisture overnight (snow/rain). The next morning we looked at the pavers and literally went 'wow'. With the pavers wetted the colors really popped and it had a whole new look. We're considering a sealant of some sort to keep that 'wet' look all the time but haven't decided on which product yet. There are several on the market with various properties. From what I've seen so far there isn't one 'perfect' sealer. There are compromises between surface 'slipperiness', appearance, durability, sand retention, etc. We'll probably do more research and apply something this summer.

I 'hooked up' with System Pavers through a home show. The consultant was scheduled and came out to see what I wanted. He took his time and listened to me. He gave me a 'ballpark' figure which I appreciated. No need to waste his or my time if I thought it was out of line. I did not think it was and he said he would take exact measurements and get back with me. He did within a week. When he came back he had a scale drawing done of the project and, to begin, explained the entire process, including removing 11 inches of material, bringing in filler, lining, and sand, tamping and leveling, and setting the edgers in cement. I was shown a number of color and paver design options which the consultant discussed with me. The job was scheduled quickly and the day before it began, the project manager and foreman of the job were introduced and we walked thru entire project. The driveway was raised slightly and part of the yard lowered. A curved portion into the yard gives a look and feel of continuity with the yard and patio while giving those getting out of cars in driveway a level access to patio. A gutter downspout was routed under the driveway along the yard for good drainage. I am more than pleased with the color and look of the pavers. They will be sealed in a few days which, I am told, will bring out the color even more. The walkway around my porch to the iron gate really sets off the yard. The installers were prompt, courteous and efficient. The project manager checked back frequently and both the manager and the installers kept me informed of what they were doing and why. The entire job was done in two days! Installers were very tidy in cleaning up the job debris. I was impressed with the warrenty and the discounts I was given on the project. The project manager and the consultant came back, separately, to see if I was satisfied. Both told me to call if I had questions or concerns. I would highly recommend anyone considering pavers to talk to System Pavers before proceeding with anyone else. They have a quality product and certainly employ quality people!
Description of Work: Installed pavers entire length of driveway, including area between sidewalk and street. Installed a 3ft. walkway around front patio. I think the total was about 675 square feet. Pavers are three different sizes and colors.

All and all the process went smoothly. The sales people were prompt and explained the process well. I picked out the pavers I liked and within days of my deposit check clearing the materials were sitting on my driveway. Mauricio and his crew did a great job and over the course of about four days my two paver patios were complete.

They came to my door offering a free estimate. When the salesperson came for the estimate he wanted us to sign a contract immediately. We said we needed time to think about it. He called us almost every day wanting us to sign. After meeting with the project manager and visiting the showroom we received promises that the quality of workmanship would equal that of the showroom installation. We then had two more meetings to verify we would get what we wanted. The installation leaves a lot to be desired. It is nowhere near the quality of the showroom installation. The retaining wall only extends half way across the front of the patio then is replaced with concrete which is exposed and was broken off the front of the patio after it set for awhile. The project was way over priced and the workmanship was not very good. I installed the original patio using brick pavers 18 years ago and it was flatter and straighter than the new one.

The company completed our job the first time 5 weeks after starting the project. If anything could go wrong it did. We were not happy with the complete project what wanted to get this company out of our hair and off our property. Unfornately, we had some heaving occur so we had to have the company back to make repairs. The one good thing the company did was to tear everything out and start over - at our request. We made sure to have everything that needed to be completed documented. Finally after a week, our project was redone and we are much happier with the end result. Too bad it took 3 tries and 4 months!!!

The only problem I had, was the pavers I picked out, I didn’t realized they needed to be sealed. They didn’t say anything about sealing them until during installation. One of the salespeople came along and asked if I wanted them sealed. He told me they would look darker which I didn’t want so I decided I didn’t want them to be sealed. I ended up with a real problem with my trees. When those leaves come down in the fall, they really stain the pavers. They did say that they would come back to clean the pavers which I am looking forward to. They were very good at giving good advice and their design work they did was very excellent. The quality of the installation was very good. They were there when they said they would be and they got the job done in a short length of time. They also cleaned up after themselves.

Description of Work: Matt was my initial contact person which he did frequently. Josh was the project manager and he worked closely with me as we'll as over see the project well. I met with the sales engineer to pick out the style, color and pattern of the pavers and border. He sketched a design for the walkways and back patio so I could see and agree to the work being quoted. He gave me an estimate on the spot that was comparable to others I had received. I also had him quote replacing my driveway and performing some work for an outdoor living space that he gladly did knowing I was not going to have that work done now. I gave the green light to proceed and two days later I met with the work foreman and the sales engineer again to talk about the job. There was some additional work that surfaced as a result of trying to put the border around my back patio. This additional work was performed at no change to my original quote. My start date was given to be about three weeks out but after a cancellation, the crew was able to start a week earlier than planned. A crew of three worked a full 8 to 9 hours over 4 days and did a beautiful job.
Description of Work: They proposed, designed and installed flagstone pavers with a border to replace, enlarge and extend a front walkway to wrap around the front of the house. This required also installing a new underground drainage system to divert water from the downspouts to the corner of my yard. They also covered an existing cement patio with the same pavers on both the top and sides. Finally, they replaced an older style stone walkway that connected the back patio to my garage to match.
