+ -1 moreJust saw another review of Stone Tops 4 Less and was surprised that they were given an F. Our experience was exactly the opposite. Maybe it is perspective. We had just gone through a nightmare kitchen update, and the counter tops were the final piece. Ed helped us find a slab that fit our style and budget, and put us in touch with an installer that was top-notch. My wife and I would absolutely recommend Stone Tops 4 Less, and will definitely keep them on our preferred vendors list if we ever brave another home improvement project.

Description of Work: Wow. Would not do this again. We went to the shop to order granite for our kitchen. We met with the owner and he determined how much we would need. We purchased the granite and were told that we'd be contacted by the installer. We were finally able to make contact with the installer, and they came to measure the area. Three days later they came to put in the granite. That was a mess as well, but I'll save that for their review. Yes, the granite was less expensive than some other places, but they failed to measure the countertop appropriately and we were short a 15 inch piece. I also ordered tile from them, but they never placed the order. In addition, the owner said that we would have to hire a tile professional (in addition to the people laying the granite). Of course he gave me this information AFTER the granite installers were here, so they didn't have the tile, wouldn't put it in even if they had it, and had arrived with not enough granite pieces. The installers also said we'd be paying an additional $75 trip-fee because they had to come out again with another piece. Our mistake? No. I really don't think we should have to absorb that. I would strongly suggest paying a bit more for a truly "professional" experience.
