After moving into our new home, we realized that the limestone and marble surfaces were super dirty and etched from previous owner wear and tear and probably needed to be resealed so they wouldn't get worse. No matter how hard we tried to clean them they always looked cloudy and like they had something on them...and there were several scratched areas. After some brief research we called Don to take a look and are so happy that we did. He came over and explained what the problems were and how he could fix them, and provided us with a clear and reasonable quote for his services. Today he and his helper completed the work and did a great job. All the marks that were bugging me are totally gone and everything is resealed and looking good again. They were very nice and even organized their work around my son's nap schedule so he wouldn't be disrupted. I don't normally write reviews but I really appreciate when people provide great customer service along with great work. Would highly recommend them to anyone!

Our designer home is loaded with marble. It took two days for owner Don Semi to complete the most thorough and beautiful work imaginable. Don is a meticulous well trained master of stone. He loves what he does and he does it the best. Why would anyone leave their fine surfaces to some kid with chemicals and a machine? Don Semi is a mature and knowledgeable professional you will be pleased to have work in your home. I could not imagine a better company to preserve and protect your fine surfaces.

Years of this company's special experienced showed through when small marble counter top nicks were repaired, seams were smoothed and one counter section was raised ever-so-slightly to return it to its original nearly seamless pieces match. Then all was cleaned and polished to improve its already near-new shine. Instructions on suggested products to use were explained and a small quantity was left behind for future personal cleaning. A gleaming experience, for sure!

After seeing favorable reviews on Angie's List and checking out the Stone Restoration website, I left a message for the owner, Don Semi. He returned my call promptly and came to our home to discuss what could be done to restore the14 year old limestone floor in our kitchen and entry hall and the tumbled marble in our bathroom. Although there were some delays in communication after that regarding the cost and start date, Don and his assistant, Rick, showed up on time on the appointed days, were very professional, and did a great job. They worked very neatly - there was no mess - and their attention to detail was terrific. I couldn't be happier with the job they did. Don gave me detailed instruction on how to care for the floor, shower and counter tops going forward, and he left me with specialized cleaning products for each of the different areas.

Mr. Semi and his crew are true artisans and professionals. They're totally knowledgeable concerning all aspects of stone and it's applications and repairs. Showing up every day - of a five day project - on time and thoroughly prepared to do the work, they'd trouble-shoot any problems, and consistently answered any and every question(s) I posed, which were numerous. Everyone was thoroughly hard-working, honest and reputable. I never was concerned leaving the house during work. A number of different companies stated this process/repair couldn't be done. Mr. Semi thoroughly explained the process, submitted a detailed and thorough bid and then produced a beautiful floor from an uneven, stained and worn travertine floor. When I asked for some minor touch-ups, Richard from Stone Restoration Denver promptly completely the touch-ups. I wholeheartedly and without reservation recommend Stone Restoration Denver for all stone and tile work.

We had a contractor try to finish our travertine tile floor and put too much enhancer/sealant on it then stripped it off with a tile stripper and then just walked away. In the master bathroom, we had our tile cleaned and when they did some of the filler of the travertine came out so I had to get it repaired and refinished. Don gave us an estimate and did the work for us. Don reassured us that he could get the tile to look like it was suppose to and he was RIGHT. Don was prompt, called to let us know he was on his way, communicated with us very well, very respectful of our property, clean, and explained everything that needed to be done and how he was going to do it. Made sure that we approved the finish before he completed the job. He also made sure we were happy when the work was completed. It was nice to see a company respect the customer and provide excellent customer service. He also left a cleaning supply so that we could keep our tile looking nice. We would recommend him for all your stone and tile restoration.
