I have not yet been able to talk with a scheduler despite multiple attempts. I have received a couple of call backs but when I call to schedule there is never anyone there. We are now at the very end of the coupon period with nothing to show for it. I will continue trying and will change this review if we ever actually make contact but things are not looking promising. UPDATE: Purchased a cleaning package through Crowdsavings.com. It was good for 3 months and was due to expire and Steamworks had not returned my calls to schedule. At that point, I put a review on Angie's List. When that review was posted, the manager of Steamworks called me, apologized profusely, and scheduled me for a Saturday. He said that they don't normally schedule Saturdays but that he wanted to make up for their not calling. Arrival time for the tech to arrive was between 10 -1, but since I was the first one scheduled he should be they around 10. Saturday came, and there was no sign of a tech. I thought he might have had a problem so didn't worry much. At 2:00, an hour after his window closed, I started calling all the available numbers at Steamworks. No one answered, which is an ongoing problem at Steamworks. By late in the afternoon I sent an email through their website asking for my money back. Shortly after I sent the email, I was called by the same manager who had scheduled my service. He again apologized profusely, but said he did not know where his tech was because he wasn't answering his phone. He offered to come that day and do the carpets, but he was in Boulder with his truck "all pulled apart". By the time he got his truck together and drove to Centennial, he estimated maybe 3 hours before he could get there. That would have had us starting a big job at around 7:00 at night. When I declined that offer and asked for a refund, he was very polite and agreed to do what he could . He also offered to give me a gift card to make up the difference between their deal and the cost of hiring another company. I agreed, and he said he would have to get approval from the company's owner, who was out if town. He said he would drive the card to my home the next day and again apologized. It has now been 1 week and I have not had any further contact from Steamworks. No gift card, no follow up, no communication. Just a Saturday that I gave up with my house all up for cleaning.
Description of Work: This was a discount purchased through crowd savings.com for 2500 sf of carpet cleaning. Deal was good for 90 days, expires 9/22/13. UPDATE: Was scheduled to clean carpets.
