Silverback Movers

HORRIBLE!!! These guys are TERRIBLE – DON’T USE THEM!!!!! I arranged for Silverback Movers to move my daughter’s bedroom furniture out of my basement to her new apartment. We traded a few emails back and forth about the details of the move and then the day of the move, 30 minutes before they are supposed to arrive, the mover (Joe) calls and informs me that I have to provider the moving truck. I didn't have a truck. Yes, it is on their website and I overlooked it – my bad. He told me was 10 minutes away and would be at my house by 10:00am and I told him I would get something we could use. By 10:30am, he was not there. I called him and asked what was going. He said he was on the country road next to my subdivision (3 minutes away) and would be there soon. I said that he was late and it was causing me some issues with other people’s schedules who were relying on me being timely. He said “well, it is your fault since you didn't have the truck.” And he said “the ‘other’ guy had turned around and was headed back to his home because I didn't have a truck.” I said “fine. I have something we can use” and hung up. By 11:00am, he was not there and not answering my calls. So I called some friends and moved the items ourselves. These guys were not only late, but DID NOT EVEN SHOW!!!!! DON”T USE THEM!!! ! I GOT THEIR CONTACT INFORMATION FROM CRAIGLIST AND THEY ARE HORRIBLE!!
