He was 15 min. late when he came the first time. He gently picked up the regular drapes (they were not going to wash the sheers, but would be washing the regular drapes and hanging both sets of drapes back up later.) He subsequently returned to hang the drapes. They seemed fine at first, but once we really used them, we discovered a couple of problems: 1. there was a drag on each rod somehow; i.e., it took much more muscle power to move the drapes. 2. previously if both sheer and regular drapes were open, the regular drapes covered the gathered sheer drapes so that the sheers could not be seen; they were hidden under the regular drapes. After Roberts hung both sets of draperies, the sheers couldn't be closed far enough to be hidden under the regular drapes; and hung out on each side. Roberts came beck and fixed both problems; the gentleman used some kind of lubricant on the rod, and he re-hooked several sheer hooks so that they were placed correctly (this is not to say that he moved the hooks in the sheers material, but rather that he attached its hooks into more appropriate hook receptors hanging from the rod).

I contacted Roberts Drapery for a bid to clean muslin (cotton) window drapes in dining and living room. They provided an approx. cost over the phone and I arranged a date to have the work done. Mike arrived on March 28 to measure and provide quote for drapery cleaning. After agreeing to the bid, he proceeded to remove the drapes and took them back to his company to have the work completed. He was very courteous, explained the process very well and we agreed on a date to have the drapes returned and hung in the same rooms. Since I have removed the drapes before by myself, I knew this was a huge job and takes a fair amount of patience. Mike was very calm, friendly and patient throughout the process of removing and putting the drapes back up. Mike returned on April 2nd to hang the drapes again, he made sure the "spacing" on the valances met with my approval and everything was exactly as expected.
