Description of Work: This company cleans thoroughly bur without using any sense. Instead of dusting the books by taking them down in blocks, they individually dusted and rubbed fingerprints off all 6 sides of several thousand volumes. Then reshelved them out of order. I am legally blind. It took me hours to straighten it out. It took them a week with 5 people to clean a 3000 sq ft home at a cost of around $4500. Everyone I talked to was so appalled at the cost I got some other estimates and tried to talk to her about why her rates were so high. (I used her based on my decorators recommendation, I didn't belong to Angie's list then.). I counldn't get her to return my call. Meanwhile. I had 3 weekly cleanings, and they were unable to understand that you can't be moving things around on someone with limited sight. I called to cancel the service. After failing to return my call for 5 days, I get a call saying the cleaner has accused me of talking to invisible people and making sexual advances. I'm a 59 year old married heterosexual, I have no yearnings for a middle aged maid. I was so shocked and hurt by the charges I decided to let it lie. I owed her for 3 cleanings, she owed me for overcharging. I'd be losing money, but ok. She took me to court to get paid. She ended up paying me a refund of over $1000 in addition to forfeiting payment for the 3 housecleanings.
