Re-arrangements & More

We had a lovely large vacant townhouse to sell in this slow real estate market. There were tons of showings during the first 9 months it was on the market, but despite its great condition and quiet classy neighborhood, everyone kept complaining that the place overlooked a fairly busy street. We finally decided to stage the living room and master bedroom to try to take people's minds off that view. The first staging company's estimate was so high it was ridiculous. Then Macky came in from Re-arrangements and More, recommended by an associate of our realtor. She viewed the place, talked about what we had in mind, and provided us with a much more reasonable estimate. I was a bit nervous as to what kind of decor we might end up with as we pretty much had to take a leap of faith and rely on her to pick out the rental furniture, sight unseen by us. Well, she did a great job keeping within our modest budget but still managed to make the place look inviting. Her staging added tons of warmth to the rooms, plus people were able to sit down and see the views of the sky and treetops, instead of walking immediately to the window and seeing the street. We immediately noticed many more favorable comments from the realtors and clients coming through, and had 2 different couples interested in making an offer within a couple of months. And yes, the place is sold!
