Horrible customer service. I signed up for a bundle package using Qwest (AKA Century Link) internet services and DirecTV. The customer services reps at Century Link were not able to answer my billing questions and would transfer me to other departments continually. Their bill is so confusing that I had to spend at least an hour an numerous phone calls just to understand it. Their internet service is slow and they have not followed through on their promise to diagnose any problems. I would definitely not use them again.
Description of Work: I signed up for a bundle package using Qwest (AKA Century Link) internet services and DirecTV.

They have always been able to provide the services that we need. We have had numerous phone lines installed and disconnected at various times. They have always gotten back to us quickly.
Description of Work: I use Qwest for my phone. We have long distance, voice mail, caller ID and three way calling.

We have had internet through them for about seven years. I can't remember any time when we haven't had service for periods longer than an hour. There hasn't been any periods of extended outages. They are fairly reliable.
Description of Work: Qwest handles our Internet.

I went online to upgrade and decided on one only to find the price was $3 more a month when I went to checkout. I contacted customer service via phone and after a lengthy verification process and sales pitch, I was told to utilize online help. After another lengthy process and sales pitch with poor response times, I received no help again. I am switching phone and internet service.
Description of Work: We currently receive internet service through Qwest and decided to upgrade.

I spoke with two individuals on the Denver business care team at the Qwest corporate office in Denver. First with Ron, who told me that he was unable to help me, and would not admit any fault. Then with a manager named Tom, who would not even attempt to work out anything with me. He told me I wasn't billed for any service Qwest didn't provide, and I told him I was sold a fraudulent business package. I wanted to work something out where I would just pay for the cost of the phone lines they wired, but he refused to budge even one inch. He would not admit any fault and refused to even admit that I had received poor service.
Description of Work: In March 2007 Qwest engaged in deceptive marketing practices and sold me DSL/Phone/Long Distance business package that was not available at my office. I did not find this information out until after all of our phone equipment was installed with no DSL to be found. When I called customer service I was told that DSL is not available at that address and I had wasted my time trying to do business with Qwest. There are significant discounts for purchasing all services from one provider. Obviously, this was my original intent with Qwest. I received a bill from Qwest for $479.67. You cannot charge a customer for services sold based on deceptive marketing practices. I never even used these phone lines to make any calls. They promised me a business bundle package and could not deliver. They took advantage of me to make a quick sale.

Not only was their pricing lousy, they make you use MSN for their bundled package. This means that if you are a Mac user, you're out of luck! Bad policy for a company that's trying to compete with the superior speeds of cable.
Description of Work: I called to look into getting DSL service bundled with my phone bill.

Cheapest DSL I could find with a rate that wouldn't double in a few months. Price included use of a DSL modem with wireless capability. Not the fastest DSL, but 1.5 mb/sec usually isn't. Called for help once and they were slow (on hold) but very helpful.
Description of Work: 1.5 mb/sec DSL.
