POWER PLUS LAWN MOWER REPAIR

Dropped my lawn mower off, even an hour before they opened, and they were kind enough to accommodate me! Said it would take about a day. I got a call promptly the next day and picked it up the following day. They were conveniently located for me and very prompt and courteous. Lawnmower looks great, but unfortunately, I won't be able to test their work until next spring when it is warm enough to mow.

checked reviews and dropped off mower at shop on 9/21/13. Despite the posted hours on the website, the shop employees said that they were leaving because they only do appointments on Saturdays. Was quoted $59 for a standard tune up, and one of the employees indicated that it would be done on Monday. I called on Tuesday and was told that it wasn't ready, but that it would be done on Wednesday. Called on Wednesday and was told that it wasn't ready but would be ready the next day. Called on Thursday and was told that it was first in line, and would be ready on Friday morning. Called on Friday afternoon and was told that it was almost done and that I could pick it up at the end of the day. When I indicated that I couldn't make it before they closed, the employee indicated that we could arrange an appointment for Saturday. I asked when, and she replied 10am. Ok, I arrive at 9:55 on Saturday and wait until 10:00 outside the shop. No one was there. I called twice at 10:00 and 10:10, and the voicemail indicated two numbers to call. I called the first, who turns out to be the owner, and left a message. I called the second and spoke to Briggs who said that his wife would be there soon. Two other guys showed up for their 10:30 appointment. The woman arrived at 10:20, and I asked whether I was wrong about the appointment. No, she admitted that she was supposed to be there at 10:00. Paid for the tune up and was charged $25 for a spark plug, oil and waste disposal.

They are really good. They have a real small shop, but are very reasonable. It's nice that they can fix things up for you because it's hard to find these days.

The work was done BEFORE it was promised. The mower starts on the first pull and cuts beautifully. The shop is not very pretty, but that is not really something that I value in an engine mechanic. I am surprised that the only other review gave an "F" because of the hours. Personally, I am more interested in the quality and the cost of the work than the hours that he is open. I also know that he is flexible with his hours and was willing to meet me after or before hours. Give him a call -- I think you will be pleased.

Their website and the sign on their door states that they are open from 9-6 Monday through Friday and 10-4 on Saturday. If you call them, their hours are 9-5 Monday through Friday and closed on Saturday.

Took my lawn mower to them because it was smelling hot and leaking oil. They helped me get my mower out of the back of my truck. Told me that all it probably needed was a power tune up. Told me it would take a week. I dropped it off on Monday and it was finished by Friday. The only drawback to this company that I experienced it that it can be a little hard to find because it is behind other businesses.
