Okay...first of all, the various cleaning people from this group were pretty great. And the concept was wonderful...flowers and chocolate! Clean house! Nice cleaning personnel! How could I complain, right??? THE PROBLEM WAS IN THE PROFESSIONALISM!
There were obvious business problems towards the end of my relationship with this group. The owner decided to get out without any thought for the staff. These ladies were so nice, and worked hard, but in the end they were kicked to the curb. And what about the customers? Slowly the service degraded. First the chocolates went bye bye. Then the flowers started coming very sporadically. The cleaning ladies started showing their discontent and some of them caught 'short-timers syndrome'. The customers were given the suggestion of using this other service that didn't offer any of the niceties of PM, and there was no way I was using the offered service.
Luckily, I was able to find another lady to do a great job, but I have to say that Posh Maids blew it in the end.

The owner is very nice on the phone but she did not ever come out and quality control issues after they were reported to her. She kept saying after ever vist just let us know how we can improve for your next cleaning. They did not provide quality cleaning at all.

They are very punctual and the people who do the work are awesome. They speak English. Price wise I find it a bit high but anything for me is high. Sometimes I do not get a response from them. I will continue to use them in the future.

I originally found Posh Maids from a LivingSocial offer. I'm so glad we gave them a try. We've been attempting to find a decent service over almost 3 years but every time we hire someone, they either disappear, get fired, or we have to let them go because they are either incapable or unwilling to do a simple cleaning on a very small home.
Miranda runs a great business. Her ladies are all proud to do a good job, and it shows. I've had one 'regular' cleaning lady who is great, and when she misses, she has a 'back up' who is also excellent. What I love about this business is that the supervisors actually take turns following up on the cleaning to make sure the customer is being taken care of. This isn't just a 'phone check'. The supervisors actually come out and clean! Now how many businesses take the time to do that? My home always smells clean and fresh, and you have to love the pretty little flowers and chocolate that are left behind.
Posh Maids is an Eco-friendly business, which is another plus.
I highly recommend them.

I really wanted to like Posh Maids. Miranda was very nice and was able to accommodate my short move-in schedule. However, i was disappointed with the post-construction cleaning. Our mostly new house was covered with fine sawdust from sanding hardwood floors, plus some drywall dust thrown in for good measure. My hope was that Posh Maids would clean all that up before our furniture arrived (i discussed all this with Miranda and told her to take as much time as needed to get the house move-in ready). First problem ... an unannounced scheduling change caused them to arrive 3 hrs earlier than scheduled, so i wasn't home while they were cleaning. Second problem ... when i arrived at the scheduled time and saw the lovely flowers and chocolates, i was disappointed to see the layer of dust was still everywhere. I called Miranda to discuss my concerns and came across the third problem ... it seems to be impossible to talk to Miranda in person when you call, you're always forced to leave a voice-mail. I was also on the phone a lot for work, so a ridiculous 17-inning game of phone tag ensued. In the end, Miranda sent one of the cleaners back to re-clean. But still there seemed to be dust everywhere. Today i realized why ... the cleaners had only dusted the horizontal surfaces, but not the vertical ones. Dust still clung to all of the walls, and it just kept falling back down on the floors and counters as people moved about. I spent all day today dusting all of the walls ... much more difficult *after* the furniture had arrived! Finally, my house feels less gritty. I'm sure Posh Maids does a decent job of cleaning up regular old daily messes, but their post-construction cleaning was a disappointment. I would have hoped that they would have had the experience to do a good job (or to tell me when i first called that they don't work on super-dirty houses).

Purchased a Living Social deal voucher for this service. Had to schedule several months in advance, as their availability for Living Social appointments was limited. Scheduled appointment for 8am on 2/25/11. I had travel plans that week, so flew in on the night of Thur 2/24 for the 8am appt the next day. On Fri 2/25, at 7:20am, received a call from someone (Yvette?) that the owner put a "hold" on redemption of Living Social vouchers because (paraphrasing) "current clients aren't able to get appointments and are leaving." This was unsatisfactory to me. I ended up speaking to the owner that morning (Miranda?) and expressed my dissatisfaction. She stressed that they did not anticipate so much demand for the Living Social deals, and I responded that I had sympathy for her as a person, but this was not a legitimate way to run a business. I told her that I would post my experience to Angie's List and she asked what she could do to make this better. As a business traveler, I have a limited schedule at home and we agreed that if someone showed up at 9am the following Sat 3/5, we could rectify this situation. I stressed that I had a different appointment at 10am on Sat 3/5 and she guaranteed several times that someone would be there at 9am SHARP. On Sat 3/5, I waited until 9:35am for the housecleaner. After no one showed, I called and left a voicemail for the owner to call me back. At 9:52, I received a call from the housecleaner. I was already long gone and she explained that she thought her appt time was 10am. I asked her to have the owner call me. I did not hear back from the owner so on Tues 3/9, I called and spoke with someone (Yvette again?) and she looked through the file notes and acknowledged that the housecleaner texted the owner to call me. Again, I asked the owner to call me. As of Tue 3/15, I still have not received a response from the owner. I had expected someone to meet their obligation to clean my condo two times, and two times they did not show up as expected and the owner handled this extremely unprofessionally. I firmly believe that her ability to run this business is limited and do not recommend entering into any business transaction with this company.
