Pop S Concrete

Popeye and crew were scheduled for a massive driveway+sidewalk rebuild next door and my neighbor asked him if they could do my short curved section of sidewalk while they were here. They gave me a few options, made recommendations, charged a very competitive price, did a great job, and it still looks great four years later. So does the much bigger job they did next door!

The project went very well. A few days after the tree was removed they were back to do the demolition and set the forms. There was a day of delay waiting for the cement mixer and they completed that same day. Popeye worked hard, respected my yard and did excellent work.

Pop S Concrete was really friendly and he did a wonderful job. He seemed to understand what we needed. He even made suggestions that we liked. He was reasonable with price. We had three bids and he was the best. He does excellent work and they were very prompt. He's prompt. He's really conscious about wanting his work to be done right. He would be here earlier waiting for his workers and making sure that everything was in order for them to pour the cement. He was very good. He even came on a Sunday. He told us he was going to come out. They started in the middle of the week and they finished up in the middle of the next week. They worked over the weekend too except for Sundays. He told us he wanted to come by on a Sunday morning because he wanted to check and make sure some of the forms were right. He ended up staying there all day just by himself, checking everything and making sure everything was right.

Scott showed up the day I called. He understood exactly what I needed, and made helpful suggestions. He completed the work that week, in the exact timetable he discribed in the bid. There were no suprises, and my new porch looks great. His price was very reasonable, and I highly recommend him.

Scott advertises work in Metro Denver. He called me back after three days. He said he does not work in my area. I am right off Orchard and I-25. I do not mind that he is busy but how can he advertise Metro Denver if you can not even work off I-25 and Orchard.

'Popeye and his crew showed up on time with all the equipment and tools needed to perform the work. He did the work that we hired him to do and then some, cleaned up as they worked, left the place clean, and did quality work in a timely manner. We are very happy with our new patio. Popeye is a hard worker, a man of his word, and a really cool guy. I will recommend Pop's Concrete to all my friends and family.

This is my second time using PopS -this time for landscaping. Another excellent experience. Scott has a work ethic that not many have today and he arrived both days at 073 0 and put in a full days work with his crew. They are all such hard workers and are very pleasant to deal with, especially if you have questions or changes. They did a great job and I would not hesitate to recommend him. We will be using him again!

He is really good. He is very professional. He was not the lowest priced, but I think he was the best. I watched the whole operation and I was amazed how they put all the reinforcement into the concrete and finished it with concrete. He was very friendly and tells things the way it is. He is very straightforward. He gave me a list of six pages of computer data about the work he had done in this area and outside the area. It had the phone numbers and he wanted me to call them. His equipments are always in great condition and therefore they never break down. I would rate them high without a question. He worked for another three neighbors of mine. They were very satisfied as well.

We purchased a new 3 car driveway, footpath and front and back porch.

He is very personable. When he gets to work he is very focused and makes sure all of his employees are doing the work correctly. He is very conscientious and has all up to date equipment. I would recommend him to anyone.

I'm happy to have gotten a phone call back. Perhaps better for Scott to be sober before calling back next time. If not high, not sure what. The gist: he's got more than enough work in Lakewood. 16 miles is about 15 too far to drive for a job. I'm slightly envious of your sitch, Scott, but I'm not going to call you pleading for your help - there are other companies around who are willing to go through the bidding process. So far they've all showed up with their thinking caps on. Also, please don't hang up mid-sentence, even when your words are coming out ver-r-r-ry slow :)) Cheers

Scott "Popeye" and his crew poured a new floor in our basement ( 200 square feet 4 inches deep). I did the demo myself, however they did all the final prep work. It was a bit of a challenge because they had to wheel barrow it from the alley and dump it down a make shift chute through the window. Popeye was one of the few people who would call back and follow through on such a small job. Most of the bigger concrete repair companies wouldn't even bother to call back once they heard the small size of the job.
