I was fooled again. This guy is bad news.
Description of Work: My first review about Mark was very good, though I thought he was very expensive (he saved me a lot of time, so I thought it was worth it). My brand new computer -- one that Mark built himself -- started having problems about a week after he installed it. In addition, my home computer, which Mark also worked on, started locking-up, lots of error msgs, etc. After another week or so, I called Mark because I thought I needed a new home computer -- he looked at it and said "oh, it's just another cheap machine." So, of course, he tried like h*** to sell me another one he would build. After thinking about it, I decided to purchase an "all in one" computer. I told Mark that's what I wanted, and after several days, he came back to me with a bid of $1,800. That's just the machine -- no software, no installation. Funny, I wrote back that day to let Mark know I just bought the EXACT same computer from Best Buy for $829.00. His response was "great! when would you like me to set it up." Really? He tries to over charge me by $1,000, and he thinks I'm still working with him?? Obviously, I didn't trust him at that point, so I decided to call another repair company called Tek-ease, which I found on Yelp. To make a very long story short, not only was my "cheap, substandard" home computer fine (I took the all in one back), but my office computer -- the one Mark built and sold me for $2400) had many problems, which my new computer guy, Ryan Korkie -- who just joined Angie's List by the way, fixed both machines and my life is back to normal. Seriously, Mark comes across as a nice person, but don't trust him. Remember this story, and call Ryan when you need help with your computer(s). How he ended up with as many positiive reviews on Angie's List really makes me wonder about their credibility. If he duped me, he's done if before, and he WILL do it again. Just remember, Mark, what goes around comes around.Julie Montgomery
