Description of Work: He worked for almost 2 hours cleaning up my computer and fixing the things that I couldn't. Well worth my money! He did more than was asked, arrived on time and helped immensely.

Description of Work: I didn't know what was wrong with my computer. I bought a video card thinking it was in need of an update. I called Mark, he came over immediately. It didn't need the video card. He spent over an hour trying to trouble shoot. He was very thorough. It turned out to be just the monitor, but I didn't think it was the monitor because I had the Samsung techs do a scan on it and they said it was fine. I felt really bad getting Mark over here for something not in need of a trained professional He didn't charge me for the call which was really gracious. I will use him again if I have a real computer issue. Nice guy.

Description of Work: Mark was extremely responsive and spent more than the time he was paid for and gave me some initial advice. Unfortunately as with many computer problems the diagnosis was a step by step process. What Mark diagnosed and the part he installed did not fix the problem. I could have called him back and did not give him a chance to further solve the issues. I needed the computer up and running and did not have time to look for the memory so he could install the damaged parts. It might have been better if he had run a diagnostic program on the computer. I might use him again if I run into problems.

Description of Work: I somehow changed the associations of all of my files and pictures in my laptop. I was not able to open them at all. Mark called a day after I bought his monthly special thru Angie's List. He was able to come out a few days later. He arrived on-time and spent about 4 hours working on this problem as well as other items that I needed addressing. He did get my problem fixed. He cleaned out alot of junk that I didn't need and my computer was booting-up much faster after he was done with it. We spoke of Anti-Virus programs and he gave me his suggestions. I will be calling him for sure the next time I have a computer issue.

Description of Work: Was very happy with my experience with the PC guy. He saved me money buy suggesting free spyware from my internet provider allowing me to drop a paid service. He fixed my computer as he said he would in a timely manner. I would definately use him again. Mark Spehn

Description of Work: I called PC Guy and wanted Mark to come to my home at my request to help with a desktop computer that was running slow. I explained we had two anti-virus programs running and I knew that was a big part of the problem. He told me over the phone how to remove one of the programs and offered to wait to see if that fixed the problem. The information he provided did remove the virus program, but my computer continued to run slow. He came at an agreed upon time that was convenient for me. He spent a little over an hour removing unecessary items from memory and freed up space so the computer runs much better now. He also provided a detailed list of computer specifications which he recommended when I purchase a new computer in the next year. This was based on my needs and my use of the computer. He offered to build this computer in the future, or be available for phone questions if I was purchasing one on my own. Mark answered all my questions. I feel Mark is focused on providing the best information and service for his customer at a reasonable price.

Description of Work: Mark arrived at my house on time and with a smile! He listened to my concerns about the performance of my pc and quickly checked certain programs for diagnostic clues. With a very calming way about him, he quickly assessed the problems and proceeded to make the proper adjustments. I have had in-home technical support before and it was usually not a pleasant experience. With no scare tactics, Mark has restored my faith in that method of pc help!

Description of Work: I thought I was having trouble with my wireless router in trying to get a Kindle hooked up and wanted to pay someone to come to the house to figure it all out. A phone call from the PC guy, some questions and great, patient info from him ended up solving all of the "problems" and gave me the information I needed to understand the real cause of the problem. He didn't charge me because to him it was a quick fix with a short phone call. He's a wonderful fellow and he's at the top of my list for any trouble in the future with my computer. I'm recommending him to all my friends.
